For a split second i thought we were at the play-off final again . Never seen them at any other leauge team , is it another first for us ? great for the kids and probably Scoooougal/Mcnulty .

They haven't discovered fire yet in Chesterfield.

They are not that far back mate, although was talking to a disgruntled Chesterfield fan earlier that said he was going to have to move to Barnsley, apparently they are doing away with lamp lighters in Chez next year due to some mythical thing called electricity.

I think we had a flame of our own on the kop, top right hand corner, could smell it from the opposite end of the kop

Took some footage of that from where I was on the BLUT. If it's ok I'll put it up on here later or tomoz.

It was nice to see, but the real highlight of the day remains Ethan Ebanks-Landell's medal walk.
Another funny moment was when the players kids who were waiting down by the JS/BL corner of the pitch, ran to their Dad's...I don't know whether it was Long,Moore or the Young Keeper, but as all the players were picking up their kids, one of our Keepers jokingly picked up Louis Reed.

When those flame boxes were placed on the touchline by the South Stand before kickoff I thought they were big speakers for a sound system.

That's a joke, right? It took everyone's attention and sapped all the atmosphere and momentum for the remainder of the first half, culminating in giving away a silly equaliser.

I was on the south stand and it seemed to generate some liveliness.

Blaming the pyro for the goal we conceded makes a change from the health and safety busy bodies.

Unfortunately some idiot throw it into the crowd from back of the kop. Hit a young boy and his Father was going crazy. I expected it all to kick off big style. That is why everyone turned around to see who throw it. The atmosphere went flat after that incident.:mad::eek:

It was the previous smoke bomb that was thrown, not the flare. (Not condoning the throwing of it btw)

Was Eastwood, I've got a video somewhere.

Edit - Here you go Dnblade

Sadly missed Sharp's young un throwing the medal on the floor.
