Where I think he is right is the it was never more than an opportunist gimmick to involve Ennis-Hill, anyway bit. It was an ill-judged bit of bandwagon-jumping by McCabe, for a bitch who has no connection with us whatsoever. But while Fatboy is playing the 'poor little innocent St. Jess of Ennis' card, she could have turned it down and chose not to. But, as we know, she'd promote anything if it added to her ill-deserved fortune. If she thought the Chedgate saga would harm her carefully-cultivated 'brand', she apparently had no such qualms about the utterly-venal Santander.
