Sheriff Fatman Strikes again

The need to bring Ennis into his little piece is odd, and something he has to manufacture. So he has to add in, "many of Evans's most ardent advocates regularly call on her to apologise", which probably only equates to a few mouth breathers on Twitter but is seemingly enough to chuck some more mud around.

To make us look like cunts. Because some of us acted like cunts and abused a national hero and one of the country's most loved athletes. So he likes to keep drawing attention to it.

Despite what the media intimated at the time, plenty of neutrals didn't think Ched should have been found guilty in the first place and thought we should have signed him when he came out. I know this because I live surrounded by neutrals and it was discussed a lot at the time. So Fatty has to find something to rubbish us with that will make us look bad in their eyes too. And that was the treatment of JEH by a small proportion of our support, which was genuinely appalling.

He was playing for Blackwell.

Billy couldn't score under Blackwell.

In 2007/08 Ched scored 10 goals in 20 starts for Norwich in the Championship.

10 years ago this season. A decade since he did anything at that level for just half a season. Just take that in and think about it.

We've had links (maybe tongue in cheek) to a couple of players who scored more a division above that season. So why not Berbatov and Robbie Keane?

:fattwat: Ched Evans has scored five goals for Chesterfield in League One this season :fattwat:

I thought Ched had scored 7.

5 in the league, one in that stupid Checktrade thing, and the consolation goal when Wycombe pasted them 5-1 in the FA Cup.

"That part of the ground is now named the Redbrik Estate Agency Stand — it was never more than an opportunist gimmick to involve Ennis-Hill, anyway — so is no longer an issue"

I sense this chap still has a bit of a downer on us.
And WE are told to get over it.

That statement is 100% true though. Classic McCabe move.

I thought it was a well written snippet, as it happens, though I'm annoyed because I had to access the Daily Mail, which I try not to do.

James Beattie scored 22 that season. We should try and sign him again!

We did. We fucking did! Every mistake we make, we repeat so I won't be at all surprised if Ched manages four appearances and two red cards as the sum total of his return. The only reason I'm not going tonto about this is because I trust Wilder.

Pretty low-key stuff from the whale-like wanker tbf.

And, as he says, there is a "mystery" (contractual/financial/obligational/McCabical) lying at the heart of the affair.

Is this anything like the "mystery" surrounding why a Club proven to be cheating and contravening rules wasn't deducted points for their abhorrent behaviour ? :eek:o_O:rolleyes:

I'm sure he would be all over that like a cheap suit ......... o_O :tumbleweed:

Well that's what some on here are getting at re: promises from McCabe to Ched or breach of contract or some bollocks...maybe it will come out one day...

Seemed fair comment to me, although Harry Kane only got his chance because Spurs were all out of options.

Still peddling that rubbish, doesn't the fact Fatty Samuels is trumpeting the same claptrap ring any alarm bells?

Yep.

Personally I think the 'breach of contract/McCabe promises' stuff is a load of bollocks, but I don't know...

Can I just apologise to you,I don't know why I quoted you,it was meant for Alfreton who is the one peddling the rubbish.
Sorry

I'd suggest it would propose that there is some evidence to support it else he wouldn't have included it.
I know the Mail aren't great on that kind of thing, but to specifically include it rather an allude to it seems a strange move if you are just poking the bear.
It certainly makes more sense than we are spending £500,000 on him purely for his footballing ability, but both seem far fetched to me.

I suggest you are talking nonsense just because it suits your agenda, you seem to have swallowed the 500k bit as well, again because it suits, several posters yesterday were telling us it was nowhere near that figure, but you are not interested in that are you?

Why are you getting your knickers in a twist about something a known critic of SUFC has written? He talks shit and will continue to do so where we are concerned, to try and paint us as a pariah club, whereas his beloved 'Ammers are the salt of the Earth.

Nobody is spending £500,000.

Why do you want to keep rumours like this going? Just enjoy the end of the season, then see what comes out later after we have had chance to assess his injury.

So much better than my reply, well said

No problem.

My fault for ending with 'maybe it will come out one day.' instead of 'some bollocks' ...does sound a bit sinister ;)

Hopefully it 'will come out' in a week or two when Wilder makes a public comment to the effect of ' he want's to turn the lad's career around at SUFC and see whether we can get him firing again.'

UTB.
