Seems to be a fair few on here and as we're on the TV more often next season (and can allegedly watch games online), I was wondering if a few wanted to meet up more?

I'm D4 (at least until middle next Jan).

Also big props to going to the lane, I've been to 10 games now this season and I know how much of a ballache it is with flights etc.

Was always worthwhile, won every game I've been too and the Irish Lady (now a blade) has seen us win on 6 occasions from 6 - furthermore, we've scored at least 3 each time too.

I'm Swords myself but work in the city. Usually head to the woodshed on Parnell street if we're on telly because of the number of screens they have.

Always up for watching with a few fellow blades. If you have the book of face join the group Irish Blades. There's a good few of us who head over for matches.
 
Ah sweet, i was thinking of getting a season ticket for next seasoon and just letting the old man have it when travel restricts.

I know swords pretty well, Mrs is from there and all her fam now live in Malahide.

I did the opposite, Malahide then Swords. 5 mins from Airport so works great for the early flights Saturday mornings :)

I can normally do about 10 home games a season so a ST wouldn't really work for me.

Gibneys didn't used to be a bad spot to watch our games, again due to the amount of telly's. They used to put it on for me even if manure or the scousers were playing!

Flight over half 8 this Saturday & home Monday evening

alright lads, i live in swords also ;-)
moved from balbriggan about 3 years ago... was over at the 2-0 bolton game in Feb, used to go over a lot but
in a band gigging most weekends so dont get over as much as id like... defo game for meeting up for a few pints

I can't make this weekend (my preference was the MK game and I'm glad too).

Don't like Gibney's, much prefer Fowlers for the beer, or Duffy's for the sport.
 
Hi lads my family originally from Cavan border so know Dublin quite well. Must have some money living Malahide! Usually stay in Portmarnock or the Grand. Watched Bray wanderers too over the years! Wish blades did a pre season tour as it is such a wonderful country hopefully be over in August

And it rains as much in Ireland as it does here anyway wishing all the blades the best day for many years on Sunday- wish I was there as do my fellow blades in Manila Tokyo and Subic - we will be watching

Done a preseason over here in when Robson was manager i went to see us up in Newry and at Longford town as well ,
think Robbo only had them over here pre-sason, so he could go on the sesh in temple bar....
me band is playing Duffys this sunday night if any of you malahiders are around and playing the harp in swords on saturday
covers band doing kings of leon, kasabian, CCR, lizzy , Coldplay and more

I'm up malahide/swords most of this weekend as I'm playing the Partypoker Irish open at the Carlton by the airport. Sat night in Malahide though, Sunday early afternoon spent in Duffy's watching the footy, unfortunately I won't be around Sunday night :-(

Sorry lads I will be in Penang streaming the game. Left UK last year after first 5 games so probably best I stay here
 
I have an uncle in Tipp who's a Blade and used to fly to matches regularly. He had a stroke a few years ago so he hasn't been getting to as many as he used to but no doubt he's thrilled at what we did this season :)

One of your relations wasnt in the local ( Cavan paper ) a few years back , had family in Loxley and Skyedge ?
