If not why not!? Can play at left back and left wing back/left mid field. At 25 and the season he's just had he could be an upgrade on Lafferty or at the very least an attacking option to bring on when needing a goal. I didn't know anything about him before this season but he's done remarkably well this season and I like us to sign players that are up and coming and hungry as opposed to older players from higher up on bigger wages who might not relish the move to the Lane as much as someone like Morris.

That's because Sir Bashambauer absolutely nailed him early doors and Morris then spent the rest of the game trying to avoid him

He ran out of steam this season but it's hard to slate him,I mean anyone would run out of steam when carrying 9 other cloggers week in week out. Expect to pay £1m/£2m though and if Wilder is going to spend that I'd expect the player to be worth £5m plus come the end of the season and I can't see Morris gaining value.

Morris has scored a few great goals, and can certainly strike a ball. But other than that, hasn't impressed me. When their tails were up he looked ok, but when they needed some quality to get them through games they had none.

It's a no from me, doesn't fit in with this team and Ben more so a league higher. He won't repeat his goal tally from this season again

He's had a good season.
But you have to look at his actual contributions when he's not taking the free kicks and corners.
and for me, as we saw at the lane when he's faced with good players he offers little in open play.

He won't get close to 19 goals again, especially if he goes up where he will be lucky to get double figures over two seasons.

I for one wouldn't mind him. I understand the comments above about a purple patch etc but he obviously has an amazing left foot.

If we can carry someone like him just for set plays then fantastic. If there's better out there I'm sure CW will be into them.

Trust me, Morris is NOT LWb material.

Not great in the tackle and hasn’t the heart for it. Leave him to set pieces and crossing he would be fine but nowhere near good enough to get in our side.
