Somebody... please name me a player that has been transferred this summer to a non-Premiership club that we could have signed and would have been an improvement on what we have?

Kevin Blackwell has been telling us for months that he will only bring in the players who are right if/when they are available. He said in the last few days that outgoings were more likely than incomings. He's been in for a few players who have gone elsewhere, he's been scouting abroad and trialling players.

You've decided that those players are crap already, having seen them how many times? Who'd play if we didn't have these in the squad?

I'm a football fan second but a Sheffield United fan first what comes first with you ?

I like football at all levels.....but United have come first for since the 60's.....in terms of attendance from me too hardly missed any home matches and many away matches. Although I'm not sure what people class as a supporter these days to be honest.


What is the point of sport any sport be it football, athletics or tiddly winks surely it is trying to win all this crap about competing is just an excuse for losers

Anyone who knows me I don't like losing even at 5 a side! But losing without blaming others is a humbling experience. Losing should not be seen as the end. There is always the next match to win.

I would suggest every fan wants their team to win every game but it will never happen not even if you support Man U, what a stupid statement.

There is a big difference between opinion and truth.

One of the key parts of having a credible opinion, is being open to others when preaching yours. That and actually reading what people say.

Something a few people are lacking.

I'm starting to think many of the most vocal first came to the lane 2 or 3 years ago! :)

I haven't got a problem with his opinion, i'd just like to counter it with mine, not that most ever read/answer what I put.

I'd be interested in the inside info proving that Blackwell has been sat scratching his arse all year and thinking of ways to insult the fans however.

I'd also welcome a comparison perhaps between Ian Hamilton (of the late 90's incarnation) and Gary Speed or perhaps a comparison of the careers of James Beattie and Micheal Twiss, to back up the infering of the state our first team is in.
