Massive well done to the club and all those that have made this happen. It should be a night to remember and it could even turn out to be an event people are still talking about in 20, 30, 40 years time.

A world title fight at BDTBL starring a Blade who is genuinely a remarkable talent. Come on Kell!!

Other than maybe England playing a World Cup match at the Lane I can't think of another non Blades sporting event that I'd rather we had the chance to host.

I was thinking earlier, before he comes out, they ought to play the first couple of bars of Annies Song (like they do on match days) and get all the Blades singing Greasy Chip Butty. Then, when that's done, the lights go down and "All Of The Lights" starts up.

I just want to hear Michael Buffer say "To the thousands in attendance and the millions watching around the world, from Beautiful Downtown Bramall Lane in Sheffield, England...

....let's get ready to rumble!!!!"

I really hope he say's that. Let's hope he throws a "The Oldest Professional Football Stadium" in the world in there too.

That is a thing ive only just got my head around that like at Tour De France. All eyes will on bramall lane & we will teaching the yanks that football grounds & teams exist outside the top 6 sides

Brook needs to be in the best condition of his life to beat Spence. He looks like a fantastic prospect. Here's his last fight

Tickets for the night are still on general sale priced as follows: tiered seating at £40, £60 and £80 and pitch seats at £80, £100, £150 and £200 –VIP Packages are sold out.

Agrred, but Algieri is a feather-fisted light-welter. Spence has had one fight since then when he looked great beating up a 41 year old.

Mansfield fans also say they have the oldest football stadium in the world.

Field Mill in Mansfield staged its first football match in 1861
Bramall Lane in Sheffield staged its first football match in 1862,
although it did stage cricket from 1855, so I believe BL is an older stadium than Field Mill.

Even Preston fans say Deepdale is the oldest stadium in the world because they've been tenants since 1875, longer than anyone other club at their stadiums. Remember SU weren't formed until 1889.

I believe the official line on Bramall Lane to be "the oldest stadium in the world still to be hosting professional football" , by which criteria, it's the oldest.

Yeh you are correct ha ha. It's all in the wording.
Just shows how saying you have the oldest football stadium in the world can have different definitions.

Its good to see that virtually all tickets sold by The Blades have gone . Its a little bit odd to see that Stub hub still have plenty left at double the face value though

Ordered two tickets satday evening for the Westfield health upper,to mark the 10 year anniversary of me and the missus being together, don't ask me how we've managed it though, lol, hoping the view for fight is as good as it is for the football, the missus, she's never been to boxing before so hopefully have a great day/night with kell prevailing and keeping his title.

With regards to the best view, I was going to go for the BL upper tier ones at £44, which is a great view, best at the Lane for football. Then I got to thinking but where's the clearest view of the action around the centre circle (assuming that's were the ring is), plumped for JSS as I always felt you're close to the action there, perhaps more so than even the South Stand (probably steeper on there) ... not completely sure but we'll see at the end of May!

Spence does look impressive i must admit however Kell is a massive step up in class for him and as such we still don't know whether he is the real deal or just the next american hype job to come over here and be destroyed like Jeff Lacy when Calzaghe embarrassed him for 12 rounds.

Either way it should be a top night.

I've gone for upper tier as everyone raves about the view and I've never been up there. Didn't wanna stray from the Kop for any of our last few games, so Kell fight perfect opportunity

Should be a proper atmosphere after this season

I went for the South Stand as I thought it might be a bit more lively in the concourse / bar area. Thinking about it though, BL stand will definitely be a good view

I dont like fighting but would suggest you take a nice pair of ........................................................................................................................................................Binoculars .

It's time for the big question.

Will we be sitting or standing during the fight?

I'm in the top tier for the boxing. You'll love it, it's fucking marvellous.
