Beating Wednesday home and away and finishing above them to re-establish our superiority.
Decent TV coverage (SKY, highlight programmes etc)
A better BDTBL atmosphere due to less expectation and more away fans.

I can't GCB. I've had my hopes built up so often over the last 40 odd years that I refuse to believe anything until it's done one way or the other. We're as close now as we were in the penalty shootout against Huddersfield and I made the fatal mistake then of believing we'd done it. So I'll stay in the present for the time being

I'd like to see us to just be competitive really, as long as we give the much better quality teams a really good game and don't get battered I'll be pretty content for our first season back there.

A win against the Pigs and a top half finish I'll see as a bonus, would be delightful with that as we can't have our expectations too high with it being our first season.

If we make it, I'm looking forward to seeing a better standard of football all round against teams that bring decent away followings. Games feel flat in this division when there's no away crowd and there's a palpable feeling of sadness about the fixture list. Much as I hate the pair of them, when teams like Forest and Leeds visit there feels like there's a real bite to the game even if you're both in mid-table mediocrity.

How much better does a fixture list with teams like Leeds, Forest, Wednesday, Villa, Birmingham, Wolves, Norwich, Derby, look like than trying to pretend that Bradford and Chesterfield are derbies in between Rochdale and Walsall?

I'm looking forward to the promised cash of course. I am looking forward to it being wisely spent on areas of the team which will be exposed to better attack and midfield and thereafter our steady five or six year building up to a possibly promotion push for the top flight.
