As anybody got any updates on Oldham's pitch and how it's looking 48hrs on from that video of one their players doing a sliding belly flop on it,is it looking any better from what it was and drying out any?
Well considering it's pissing it down all day I don't think it'll be drying out just yet however after today the forecast looks dry and bright.

Don't they have covers in Oldham, especially if they know weather's going to be wet? You would think that they'd have precautions put in place to get the game most definitely on.

Weather forecast is clear with sunshine after today right through until Saturday evening. If that is accurate then I will be very dissapointing if Oldham can't fix a waterlogged pitch in that amount of time.

Don't worry mate, I've just put my bucket and pitchfork on Ebay and Gumtree, they've no excuse now mate. I only want a Northampton vs Blades ticket for them both aswell.

We shouldn't change anything

We've played on bad pitches away from home all season

We can play football better than Oldham can, that's why we are higher than them in the League.

It's not the right time to change things that work just because the pitch isn't very good

It's like MOTD from the 70s.

I can envisage there being personnel changes with that in mind.

Agreed. I’d like to see Jake Wright replace Lafferty in a re-shuffle rather than Done/Chapman etc. Probably bring in O’Shea for Duffy and stick with Hanson for this one. Can see it being a bit of a battle.
