They seriously are. Fleetwood and Scunthorpe both dropped points again.

Bolton now 9pts behind in 2nd.

On that, what happened at Bolton? Everyone after said it was 2-2 even RS said they were pegged back late on!?

Northampton had a goal disallowed unfortunately!! It was right at the death too - not sure why, just had an alert come through on my phone!

All we need to do is concentrate on us, but yes the failures of the chasing pack are helping us

I think Scunthorpe at this rate aren't going to make the playoffs. A spectacular collapse from top spot.

We are almost certain now of top two that was a poor result for Fleetwood, they would have expected to have won that one.

The title is a different matter though Bolton are on one of those runs, we can't afford any daft slips ups at the likes of Oldham and Port Vale.

Oldham will be a challenge - they don't seem to concede many!

Another thing - Millwall can be completely ruled out now. They're no sort of threat to us. Even if they won their games in hand and beat us at BL they still couldn't finish above us.

Only Fleetwood and Bolton could possibly finish above us now. And with Fleetwood 10 points behind with no games in hand, promotion at least looks assured. Realistically I think the worst we could do now is finish 2nd to Bolton. And that is also very unlikely.

The only thing Milwall and Bradford could now trouble us with is costing us points when we play them, both are In decent form.

I am now 99% sure we are going to finish top 2.

None of them matter as long as we keep doing our job.

This is what matters. As long as we keep winning, they won't, and can't, catch us. Very happy today...once again the status quo is maintained, and there is now one game less for them to catch us. Today feels like the Hull game in the PL promotion season...vital win in a game we could have lost. I loved Billy in front of the Kop after the match...you could see so clearly how much it means to him :D

Points on the board all day long. Bolton have to play a lot of away games, including Scunny away. Scunny have improved performances a lot recently but had some bad luck so still won't be easy to beat.
Bolton have hardly been brilliant and we only need to win half of our remaining games to win the league IMHO. Can't see anyone overhauling our total if we do that, only one side is good enough to win every game from here in...and that's us.

I must say I can now understand the pressure of what being "at the top" brings, I've really felt it the last few weeks, seems like the whole division is just waiting for us to fuck it up, week in week out got to win, must win, guess just not used to this as a Blade supporting what is a usually mediocre team. What a difference Wilder has made.

its not the chasing pack making it easy for us

our relentless run is piling the pressure on them

they have to win every game
weve got some wiggle room

Millwall drawing with Bury best result for me
Bury playing well just now , got to play one or 2 of the contenders
a good derby win over bolton would be nice

6 more wins will see us promoted as champions. A nervy win today but another 3 points in the bag. I'm starting to believe that we're finally going to get out of this pub league. Got my tickets for the Coventry and chesterfield games. Up the blades.

I said weeks ago that Milwall were no threat, and they still aren't
