Having listened to the game ont radiobox....

It sounded as though Bolton started out very well, they bossed possession and created a few chances...one of which putting them in front on 7 minutes.

By the admittance of the commentators, it was all Bristol after that and somehow Bolton have managed to steal a point!....Wave after wave of attacks and Bolton pinned in their own half and box for the majority, clinging on for dear life...

Finished with 10 men however Vela could have walked in the first half....Somehow he got away with 4 naughty fouls, again by the admittance of their own commentators. He only got a yellow and then walked a fine line afterwards.

millwall back in top 6 only 13 points behind us with 12 to go

bradford draw specialists
mind you bristol rovers drawn their last 6

Doing the rounds on the Bolton fan accounts.

Deep breath, enjoy the beer, and the results tonight.
Could this really be happening???
And I'm on holiday for two days so I'm drinking till daft o clock!!!!!

Massive night.

I thought one would drop points, but for neither to win and one to lose is an absolute bonus.

It's got to be said, it's all going our way this season.

Scunny and Bolton are falling apart and it looks like we're going to do it at a canter.

I might have to start calling in the chickens soon.

You can thank me for tonight's results. Never won a football bet in my life. So I decided to put a double on Bolton and scunny to win. You can thank me by giving me my stake back if you like!

Just looked on Trotters board and they had a shocker of a night

One sent off
Vela hit 10 yellows
Spearing has done his medial ligament and is done for the season

Sounds like they were lucky to get a point...well done the Gas.
It will be interesting to see Parky's interview.

Just seen spearing is out for the season, they will be lucky to get play offs now

Can't make many of them out tbh. Is that Gagey in the front, 2nd right? Wally Downes there too?

Mark Morris, top row second from right (next to Laurie Sanchez), Corky top row, second from left - with hair!, Glynn Hodges front row furthest right, next to him Gagey and left to Gagey is Wally Downes. Then there's the big man of course! The best manager we've ever had!

So then Bolton...

Andrew Taylor back in the team.
Jay Spearing back in the team.

And it seems you were even worse than you were against us!

What excuse is it tonight then?

Shame for Spearing.

Bolton are completely finished. Long way back for them now. They're a contender to do a Coventry.

"Best ever manager we have ever had" or "Best manager in your years of following the Blades"?

Both in my view! John Harris is before my time and the football was better I'm sure under Harris but Harris inherited Currie from Arthur Rowley which helped, Woodward came through the youth as did Badger, Hodgy and Jones and they were top notch based on what I know. Harry inherited Whitehouse, Ward. So in terms of signings made under a very low budget and the two promotions beating a very expensively assembled Newcastle and one point off an even more expensive Leeds side and then keeping us up for 4 seasons until the board sold Harry, that's my take on why Harry is the best. Warnock did really well but not as well as Harry and spent more in the top flight.

Are you sure about that? "Harris inherited Currie from Arthur Rowley" ? That's not my recollection. I thought Harris bought Currie from Watford?

Sorry think you might be right there actually. Just checked again. Currie came in Feburary 1968 and Harris left in July that season to go upstairs and then took over again from Arthur Rowley.
