Absolutely outstanding today. As good a signing as CW has made, and I understand why he wanted to make it permanent. Not sure we could play a back 3 without him in the line up. He'll never get the plaudits, but he's such an important player for us.

Thought he'd been absolutely bog standard all season tbh but today - especially second half - he was excellent. Hope he keeps it up and if he can improve his service into the box and play positively with a bit more intent he'd be great.
Possibly a player that doesn't actually realise how good he could be at this and Championship level?

Yes and there were times he should have just ran on himself once he had won the ball but he was stunning in defence.
