It was getting very edgy toward St Mary's gate after the game. Lots of stand offs and folk offering each other out. Not nice to walk through with an 8 year old clutching your hand.

It happened just in front of me. Didnt see what happened to the lad on the floor but he certainly had blood at the side of his head. Only looked in his 20s to me but I didn't stand and gawp. Woman who said she was a nurse was attending to him.

Two coppers chased the Bolton kids up the road past where my missus and young un were waiting for me. She regrets not filming them but hopefully they've been nabbed. Only a matter of time anyway with cameras everywhere and amount of witnesses there were.
