Slowly and in an ungainly manner with little purpose. If I'd have been Connor Sammon, I'd have just moved.

As a boy I grew up in Todwick and we had several Blades living in the area: Hodgy, Eddie Colquhoun (next door to Hodgy) Paddy Buckley, Graeme Crawford (Reserve Keeper), John Tudor and of course Neil Warnock, Lee Butler was also a Todwick lad too ! Paul Garner,John Flynn and Paddy Kenny were North Anston and of course Colin Morris and Glenn Cotterill both lived at South Anston.John Tudor told me he lived in Todwick when he was our player. I think Eddie Colquhoun lived there too
I wonder where Andy Barnsley lived?
To call the Dev or the Hare and Hounds shit holes is the
most inaccurate comment I have ever heard!
Len lived there too.Badger Estate
David Powell aswell...Summerfield Road wasn't it as did TC I think. There were loads of professional players that I knew that lived in Dronfield, the list would be too long for me to name them! As for the current Blades players I only know Jake Wright now lives in Dronfield
Ted Hemsley lived in Summerfield Road. Didn't know that Powell lived there too. TC lived in Burns Drive in 1990s before moving to WorksopDavid Powell aswell...Summerfield Road wasn't it as did TC I think.
Cockerell lived in south anston as well, do you still livein anston coco?So did Gerry Summers and the original Hodgy (Mrs ISC was friends with Hodgy's daughter). He moved to Rugby when he was a goalkeeping coach and we dropped in once for a cuppa. Nice bloke and he still had an interest in SUFC.
Eddie Colquhoun had a car spares shop on Dinno Main Street, imaginatively called 'Eddie Colquhoun's Car Spares'. Most Unitedites were too in awe to go in, but a few cheeky piggies would knock and run.
Colin Morris lived in South Anston and I used to deliver his milk on a Saturday in the early 80s. Sadly I am unable to think of any poor milk related pun.
I used to take Beesley's younger son for training at Staveley WMC u15s during the 2012/13 season and he wasn't living in Dronfield Woodhouse then. Vinnie Jones, Simon Tracey, Vas Borbokis, Howard Kendall and Gareth Taylor lived in DronfieldPaul Beesley lived in Dronfield woodhouse as did Howard kendall I believe. Saw Danny Wilson drinking in the Woodside pub in Brampton, Chesterfield the day he got the utd job. Believe he lives up that way. Also Diego di girolamo lived(s) with his parents in Newbold, Chesterfield.
I think Eddie now lives in Conisborough, and Geoff Salmons lived in Harlington, but not sure if he still does.So did Gerry Summers and the original Hodgy (Mrs ISC was friends with Hodgy's daughter). Tony Currie was my grandma's next door neighbour, in Worksop. Quite friendly if I remember right.
But what was TC like?
Last I heard, McNulty lived in Bents Green and Brayford just off Fulwood Road.
Quinn and Tonge used to live in Crosspool before both moved on (to fatter contracts).
Jimmy Johnstone used to live on Springwood Lane in High Green.
When i was a lad Howard Wilkincunt used to live on the Fire Estate in High Green, as did Lee Chapman and Leslie Ash.
Bought our first house on Dale Road when we got married in 88, number 16we lived in a semi on Dale Rd, Dronfield.

Jonathan Forte used to live above the chippy on Derbyshire Lane
Cant remember the number, moved out in 1980. It was the last pair of semis on the left afore the detached house's. I think there were about 6 detached houses at the end of the cul-de--sac.Bought our first house on Dale Road when we got married in 88, number 16
Not Blades but Nigel Pearson lives in Fulwood, Howard Wilkinson in Whirlow, Chris Waddle in Dore.
