With our form coming nicely up at exactly the right time, Scunthorpe's going the opposite direction, home advantage, Tufty surely fielding a more traditional 1st XI, it's hard to see past a home win for us. Scunthorpe desperately need to get something out of the game to keep in the race, even a draw would be insufficient, so they'll come at us and it will make it an open game, which will play right into our hands.

There's gonna be lots of room for some slide rule passes and 1-touch football. Since the 3 game blip where we conceded 8 goals, we've enjoyed 3 clean sheets, and so as long as we're clinical enough to stick 2 goals past 'em, we'll bag a decisive win and go top by 8 points. 3-1 Blades, Hanson, Billy and Fleck. I've not been this confident about a big game in a long time. Think with our form, last nights squad rotation, and just a genuine buzz about the game I reckon we will muller these.

Gutted to be missing this one...best mate's last birthday as an unmarried man couldn't have fallen worse for me. I'd be at the lane if I wasn't best man at his wedding (I know I know....Blades before everything ) I'll be glued to soccer saturday on sat afternoon in Newcastle, and keeping everything crossed. I reckon we can beat them, and ANY win finally gives us a better GD than them, which could be important. I'm going for 2-1 Blades. I reckon they'll score, and maybe even go ahead, but we'll have too muchfor them when we're back to full strength. Hanson and Sharp for us.
