From someone in the know unfortunately your mates were a complete set of 'big bad horrible bunch' on the concourse , the worse seen at the Lane. Youre Ok though

I didnt even know it was going on as I remained in my seat at HT just drinking in and surveying the scene around the ground, it was just those youtube clips that surfaced after that i knew and then the local paper reported it..a group from Chesterfield were in amongst the rabble i know that.

none of them were real fans, they all scarpered off when the 2nd and 3rd goals went in, the real Worcester fans stayed to applaud after the final whistle appreciating another decent Cup run coming to an end.

professional pride kicked in that day for the Blades players, they didnt want to be embarrassed, that was about the only game where Hammond was actually 'seen' wasnt it, until that 89th minute at OT in the 3rd round?

if we'd just had that same team and aura from the previous year then i think we might have given you a proper scare, we had fully fit full backs then who could get up and down and wouldve handled Campbell Ryce a bit better than slow coach Minihan who was turned inside out god knows how many times lol!

think it'll be a while before we're playing this well again...
