Our allocation for Peterborough sold out and 4000 tickets sold - what a great support Blades
Reminds me of when we went there in the 4th division what a great atmosphere that was
Would be great if we can get a similar result !!!

P'boro play an open game - suits us down to the ground.

We struggle with teams that close us down, but this should be a good game of football, and really looking forward to it.

Never predict a score, but if we apply ourselves as we did against Wimbledon, we should come away hopefully with 3 points.

UTB

PS: Not seen us lose away yet this season :):):)

I was there behind the goal. What a shithole!
I was too, what an atmosphere, probably the best of many great away games that season.
Some I must admit to being to pissed to remember much about especially the weekend ones.

Great night indeed.
We got away quite early that night from London Road, and cant remember how far up, but we stopped off at a pub on the A1heading home for a couple of pints.
Only two of us in when we first got there, then slowly but surely, more and more Blades arrived until the place was rammed with Blades, obviously all in very high spirits after a great performance
The landlord was smiling all over his face as he couldn't keep pace with demand for booze, and was rushed of his feet, thinking he was making a fortune.
When we came out to head home, we saw loads of blades had opened his cellar door, and were helping themselves to crates of beers and allsorts, being loaded into cars and coaches for their journey home.
Priceless. :):)

Just a question...

...Do they have undersoil heating? what with the "Beast from the East" Siberian blast due to arrive Friday.

1981 going down the A1 with a convoy of Blades - didn't realise the size of our following till we scored and half the main stand jumped up..
One that lives in the memory

And we played them again at home shortly after and repeated the 4-0
which reminded me of how we comprehensively beat wimbledon on saturday

ill be there on sat unless they call it off. it gets cold down here in the east, peterboro do not have heating undersoil. remember a few years ago on train from colchester to peterborough and the guard said the game was off , frozen pitch. can see the same happening again.
