Don't think we need to worry too much about this even if true.

There is absolutely no way CW is leaving his dream job unless an significantly bigger club came in for him and offered him a ridiculous salary and good budget. Apart from Prem teams the only ones I would see a potentially appealing to him would be Newcastle and maybe Villa but they have only just got in Ol Bent Nose.

The only other way I see him leaving is if the board completely shaft him over which again I can't see happening any time soon as even they see what an amazing job he has done in such a short space of time.

Not happening anytime soon. No chance he leaves us for at least the next 2 and a half years

Don't believe it mate....one realistic offer he could get that he might not turn down is Southampton. Premier league money with connection...if we go up and are bottom three at Xmas half on here will want him out and he knows that !

Pffffft, Wilder would knock Barcelona back. He has the crossed swords etched on his heart.

Who's the coach he's on about?

Btw is Pembo still there?

Word around these parts is that Lee Johnson will soon be on his bike if they don't start moving up the table, hence the speculation

If you're looking for an up and coming chap from the lower leagues Wilder is pretty well ideal

Football is a business. If the £££ stacked up then Wilder would be off - regardless of the shape of his cock or the heat of the sauce coming out of it.

The thing we have to worry about (or I worry about) is us kicking on next season and being in the top half dozen places in the Championship when a team like Southampton, Bournemouth or Stoke (maybe even Everton if Koeman goes to Arsenal) decide they want to recruit the latest fashionable English manager who knows the lower leagues.

No amount of love for BDTBL is going to be able to turn down an offer from an established PL club.

Is it just me that gets irritated as fuck by the use of initials when discussing people?! It only ever seems to happen on football forums & I spend half the time trying to work out who the fuck LJ or DC is before any of the shit people are spouting makes any sort of sense.

The rumour may or may not be true. Either way, not really that bothered as Lord Wilder is going nowhere.

If a prem club came in for CW it would surely only be one of the clubs like Watford, Leicester, Bournemouth or Palace. That being said, if we get promoted and do reasonably in the championship he surely wouldn't leave would he ? If we aren't as big as the clubs mentioned then there is something wrong. Before anyone says anything we would dwarf their crowds if we were in their position and possibly attract decent players if the club invested (hmmmm). I genuinely believe that CW would love to take us to the prem and who says he won't, only time will tell. But we as fans couldn't stand in his way if the club messes things up and we don't progress in the championship and one of the smaller prem clubs come in. One point at the moment that could be interesting is if Leicester go down he may be a target for them ?

Wilder - loyal to us.

Us (board/fans) - loyal to Wilder.

A reciprocal arrangement.

Yes sounds very nice . We lose 3 on the trot and some silly fucker supporters will be asking for Wilders head . If if we get promotion and struggle , silly fucker blades fans will again be asking for his head .

Sure as eggs are eggs Wilder will get the sack or leave.

It is not a match made in heaven. Fans are fickle and thick as pig shit . Get real . Nothing is for ever

Some people need to get in the real world. You see internationals superstars leave the premiership for China for no other reason than money.

We have to meet his expectations both financially and support with fees and budget.

Bristol City rumoured and so have Forrest. Forest went out and brought in Mcormack (9million I think it was). We cannot compete currently.

If CW gets offered a good progression he will leave. I think he would want the promotion on his CV (for business and personal reasons). But people need to get real if someone doubles your money, doubles your budget and fees. Your 1 step closer to the get to the Premiership.

If sufc back him financially and with budget then we have a chance to keep him. All down to the Prince and McCabe.

If I was down at the lane I would be desperately trying to tie CW and AK to new improved longer contracts.

A lot of truth in what you say but Mccabe is no fool he's made mistakes with a number of managers. this time he knows hrs got the right man ( even if we struggled for a while) . There will always br doubters but that's football,I think wilder will be here for a good few years yet.
If he continues to be successful with us he will get the chance to make his fortune. Will he jump ship at rhe first chance? I don't think so he will strive to become our best ever manager, that's some goal, rhe way he's started suggests he is well capable of that.
Only then will he consider moving on for the money and we couldn't begrudge him that.
Only my opinion of course!!

Wilder isn't about money....Until he leaves for money... then he's a money grabbing twat....

But for now, he's all about the love of his club

Think we have to milk it whilst we can , and if Wilder gets us out of League 1 , the board and fans have to be indebted to him. I can remember the flack both Warnock and Bassett got from supporters , when things were not going right . Managers and clubs can outgrow each other , and everything becomes stale .

We are riding on a wave at the moment and it's a enjoyable ride , although we are all nervous of failure .

Money does talk , but fans , manager , players , board have to stick together .

Sheffield United bloody good club , and really have to be thankful of our support , expectations are high because we are pissed off , after being pissed on from a great height .

Why no new contract offer? Would give everyone a lift if he signed an extension.
