A fair bit has been noted about our absolutely vital 2 home games vs Scunny and Bolton this month and they clearly are hugely important and we could do with getting over our mini wobble before then (which im confident we will do).
However I have just seen Bolton's fixtures for February and they could genuinely be well off the pace by the time we play them anyway:
Sat 4th MK Dons away (improving steadily)
11th Walsall at home (maybe just our bogey team but shown they can be a good side)
14th Rochdale at home
18th Bradford away
25th Us away.
At the minute even if they won their 2 games in hand they would still be a point behind, but that run is by no means a walk in the park and I think losing Clough will be a huge blow.
At the end of the day we just need top 2, champions would just be the icing on the cake, beating both would be class but even if we lost to Scunny yet beat Bolton and Bolton have dropped points in between, then I dont see anyone else replacing us and scunny.
Get Riley, Carruthers, Wright and maybe O Shea in the team to freshen things up and we will be firing again!
