From the little I've seen he's a decent central midfielder, but his vision, touch and control isn't as good as the younger duo of Slater and Gilmour's, and Gordon looked a bit too laid back when I saw him. With Ben Whiteman progressing there are too many young midfielders ahead of him and it makes sense that he finds a new club.

Let's not blame him for being happy to have signed a professional senior contract though. Good luck to him.

I and maybe you have to live away for work - whereas I suspect Billy and Sean have made enough that they could live where they want. My only point is that they tell us how great Scotland is and how proud they are to be Scottish, but - with a free choice - they elect to live somewhere thousands of miles away. It's not "bad" but it might be a bit hypocritical, no?

I think they have to live where they do primarily for work. Connery left the country when the top tax rate was 90%, as did many others. However, I don't think their opinions on Scottish independence should be given any credibility.
