I know I shouldn't bite because it's what you want but taking the effort to create a profile and start a thread on the message board of your rivals strikes me as being obsessed.

I can answer this quest I think.

I was Admin on a South Yorkshire Forum for 6 years which closed in 2011 when I'd had enough TBH. A mixture of local fans used it but the majority were Blades or Pigs, and it was pretty much a 50/50 split for the two Sheffield teams,

Who was more obsessed with whom was a regular discussion point, and so with the help of some software, I did a 6 month scan of post by username title and content to find out...

a/ topics started by Sheffield fans about their rivals..
and
b/ threads that were clearly about one Sheffield club, but were hijacked by fans of the other.

The first time I did it we were in the Premiership, and the results were that the Wednesday fans on the forum posted nearly twice as much about Blades than the other way round. The Piggies came back a me using the excuse that was just because we were in the Premiership, and so we were bound to attract more attention.

So a couple of years later, I rerun the program and I got exactly the same results as some ex SYF posters on here may recall. The Pigs disputed the stats again of course, but they were genuine and they even surprised me.

So there you have it, in my experience the Pigs are far more obsessed with us than we are with them, and the fact that their illustrious leaders on Porktalk hide any mention of Sheffield's Finest away on a hidden member's-only section ain't fooling anybody.
