Even by recent standards, this meltdown on here is quite a big one!

Its all about perspective. You could hear the crowd getting restless on the Radio Sheffield comms last night just before the 2nd goal went in. I thought, for once, that Keith Edwards reacted quite well to their second. But then having called Wilder, Wilds; Ebanks-Landell, Ebanks-Blake and then Lafferty as Rafferty, he was perhaps not in great form himself...

We need some patience, we've set ourselves some high standards this season. However, we've had a fair amount of disruption recently with new signings coming in and the like. Perhaps a few people are getting a bit nervy with it all...

It's the predictability I can't take. We are flying to top the league. Other crucial games get cancelled (Bolton, scunny) and we blow it. Other teams don't play last night and again we blow it. We've been playing brilliantly. Why are we suddenly being shit again?

I'd say its the unpredictability of this league which is part of the problem. Cheeky upstarts, Fleetwood, going on a 10+ unbeaten run whereas we should've won this league by now. Scunny were stretching their lead back in October, Bradford and Bolton both above us too, but we've turned it around with a cracking Nov/ Dec, but thankfully we did, it gave us a bit of a buffer...

I still think we're going to win the league, but as Wilder says, we need to halt this run we're on. Fear not.

I and vast majority around me last night agreed it was as bad a performance, both collectively and for certain individuals as I can remember. We had 1 clinical chance to their 3 and it wasn't a case of parking the bus first half. They came at us and cut through us. They were sharper. We were equally as toothless as were vulnerable and overall, increasingly deceptively ineffective. I'm worried. All things considered, don't think that makes me over dramatic.

Defensively, they were the best we've seen. But this game should have been a frustrating 0-0 if we could defend with any professionalism. No question.

Simple fact is, we just need to be better than we have over the last 3 games, nobody can possibly dispute that fact surely.

I was sat on Westfield UT and being honest, first half I thought they ran at us and shit us up. It did feel they could cut cut through every opportunity they went up field.

Second half they absorbed and accepted our gold plated gift. But I didn't see Braveheart defending as witnessed by Northampton and Oldham as to my eyes we were comparatively tame. They just seemed disciplined.

Agreed, this was different to other games because we didn't create a hatful of chances like normal.
Give credit to Fleetwood for playing perfect tactics and having such a well drilled organised defense.

Still very confident we'all finish top 2 though.
We have just signed 4 (FOUR) new players all with the ability to improve the team.
We are in a better position that our rivals, so logic suggests we are still favourites to top the league.
