Disappointing

No, not "fans" fault but would be nice to hear a bit of support from supporters, that's all. You know, supporting the team, or is that an outdated idea?

The knee-jerkers will be out in force tonight, making more noise than they did sitting on their hands in silence for 90 minutes today. Did we really have 600 fans on the Lane End today? Not a fucking squeak from them.

Worst fans in the land, bar none.

Aye I'm sure you were in fine voice, leading the charge.....

Blaming the fans is reprehensible bollocks and the childish name calling offensive, rest assured it's being reported.

I was merely responding to your juvenile single word argument with one of my own. It's called succinctness. Perhaps I should have reported you instead? Not my style, though.

Now, do you want to discuss it properly?

I'll go first. The Lane Library houses the quietest, least supportive, most self-entitled "fans" in the land. They are neither use nor ornament.

Report that.

Got to be the worst side to come to The Lane this season, our defence and their luck (getting a toss ref) went for them today

Sooo disappointed

Worst team or not their centre backs defended better than ours did and the keeper looked quality depsite being an idiot goading the fans.

Bet half the clubs in the land would love to have our support - who else would get 20k plus vocal IMO fans after 6 seasons of this garbage league? Care to name them??

Not the worst fans in League, not the quietest, 20,000 in League one should be lauded. You have an agenda and it's getiting to Lenners like boring proportions now.

I thought your post was a load of bollocks and said so. I did not lower myself to name calling though, you did that, says it all.

He said your point was bollocks, you called him a twat. That's personal abuse.

Please respect the rules.

That was a very poor game, we have to be better than this. Two of the weakest goals to concede, literally walking through our players and keeper. Too much dithering on the ball from Duffy today, Fleck too to an extent. Coutts gave Dack a footballing lesson in midfield. Thank god for Kieron Freeman stepping up yet again to save us from a home loss. The bloke a few rows behind me shouting "Freeman you are fuckin wank" for most of the game needs his eyes testing.

Like last week at Walsall, very few of our players came out of it smelling of roses today.

Big, big game on Tuesday night.....

And once again a thread breaks down into a petty squabble... well done everyone.

Gillingham ruined it for us by letting us score in the first half. We need it to be nil nil with ten minutes left!

We looked good going forward at times but a combination of bad luck and poor finishing meant we only got 2. However, we looked really shaky at the back on the rare occasion they got in our half - particularly down our left hand side - and the 2 goals we conceded were shocking.

I have a bad feeling we will end up in the play offs. I expected us to show some real intent this transfer window - particularly when Wilder talked about bringing in some exciting players - but the players we are linked with at the moment are disappointingly average.

Yes, the expletive was unnecessary. I apologise for that. You may well not be a twat. Your post was silly, though. A disproportionately large number of our fans are non-supporting, Neanderthal single-cells who haven't a clue what they are talking about. They make 20,000 sound like 200 and there wasnt a discernible trace of support from the lower tier. That's the plain truth.

Not truth, just YOUR truth, which is bollocks as always.

Stop talking bollocks. I've got decades of United's underwhelming performance to back up my statement, which wasn't even a negative statement to start with.
What's not true about losing 4-1 at Walsall and drawing at home to Gillingham,

My worry in this transfer window was the board would assume after Southend it was all over bar the shouting and think we were more or less promoted and stick rather than twist.

Can see us in third place in mid March and no loan window to plug the gaps.

Apology accepted. I still disagree with your post and points though, which in a free country I'm allowed to do.

And I will try not to respond in one word Retorts.

Although a disappointing result, to those who can cast their minds back as far as the last two seasons, how often did we USED to come back from a goal behind?

Things have massively improved and in a short time too but it's so frustrating to get yourself into such a strong position only to throw away 5 points against two poor sides

Truth = Negativity to some
Depends on which way you look at it,
whether you're realistic or a dumbass clapper

How can it be 'the truth' when you were talking about something that hasn't yet happened and might not happen.

Speaking of dumbasses.....

I am disappointed somewhat in this window as the 2 (soon to be 3 with Hanson) we have brought in are all likely to be back up players. Don't get me wrong we needed cover in those positions and obviously the team have been playing well but a couple of players to improve the first team would probably clinch promotion

Judging on the targets it looks like Wilder isn't being backed enough to get us that top quality which is a shame. It's a real chance to build something special.

anyone at fault for the goals?

Done & CH's basically ........ VERY poor defending !!

Ref and linesmen were appalling today but make no mistake ...... we were the architects of our own downfall.

Poor defending and generally an under-par performance.

Probably one of Tufty's off-days today as it was a serious error of judgement to play Done at LWB ...... where we know he cannot play, and bringing on McNulty was a waste of a shirt. :(

UTB & FTP

All harks back to the transfer window under Clough when we were a mile away from automatic but he was given more money than any other manager since we have been down here. The board now talk of how we "Won't be spending silly money again" with some sort of bizarre pride.

My original statement is the one that got your knickers in a twist
So tell me:
When did we ever got promoted and it was a formality from February ? Like Wolves did a couple of years ago and Charlton before them
When did we ever get promoted and piss the League ? Like Reading did when we went up with them

If we get promoted United will do it the hard way as usual because they always do, history shows us they will, and today and last week shows us they will this season as well............So in other words it's true

It's another point in front of 3rd place, and as far as I am concerned Bolton are still the team under pressure.

Yep, and Bradford only drew. Rochdale lost 4-0 at home. Bolton have only taken 7 points from their past 5 games.

We're not going to win every game. There'll be draws and losses thrown in there. We move on to the next game and look to improve on today.

Please don't lock and move the thread. Others are capable of debating and discussing properly without resorting to personal abuse and it'd be nice if the chance to do that wasn't spoilt by one individual.

If we don't go up Wilder won't be at fault in my book. The fact he's got us playing like we are with virtually nowt to spend, cast offs and rejuvenated rejects. The board have rewarded him with a cut price midfielder from MK. Cheers.

Yeah because your constant suicidal whimpering only stretches back two games doesn't it....
If you hate following this club so much, stop doing it, and spare everyone your humourless "we're all doomed" crap.
