From the reports about him during his spells at rotherham and chesterfield, he was looking ever more likely to be knocking on the first team dressing room. And from the footage i have seen (allbeit minimal) he does seem to be a good keeper

Quality keeper this lad, was in League One team of the season. Had a blinder against Leeds in the first leg and I said to my Dad that I'd like to see us go for him.

to be honest i quite fancy our chances of getting him, should this be true. Everyone knows that Keegan hasnt got the time of day for youth/reserve teams anyway and its unlikely that he would be placed straight into the first team and knock given out of the team.

Coventry City have agreed a deal to sign Carlisle United's highly-rated goalkeeper Kieren Westwood.
The Championship club have confirmed Westwood is on his way to the Ricoh Arena and will be presented at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Westwood enjoyed an impressive past season for Carlisle and was named in the PFA League One Team of the Year.
He has made over 150 appearances for the Cumbrians since joining the club from Manchester City four years ago.
Carlisle boss John Ward recently admitted that the club would have to listen to 'any serious offers' for the 23-year-old after receiving three enquiries for the keeper.
The Republic of Ireland hopeful had 12 months remaining on his Brunton Park contract, but has now accepted a deal with Coventry.
