Speechless!

I didn't go, but 15 shots doesn't say to me that we didn't challenge their goal.
yet their keeper had virtually nothing to do in the second half. A lot of huff and puff but the strikers had only scraps to feed off.

When Arsenal did the double in 1971 they lost 5-0 to Stoke along the way, but didn't panic. They just put it down to a bad day and then went back to winning again. I expect us to do the same. A team that wins 6 in a row isn't suddenly a bad one because of one defeat. Either Walsall must have attributes that we can't deal with or it's just a mad coincidence, but at least we don't have to play against them again this season.

We knew a defeat was coming one day; better at Walsall than against Bolton or Scunthorpe. And, as it turns out, we still lead the off form Trotters by 6 points. My only minor worry is that Simon Moore's confidence might be affected by his shocking performance today. He's a good goalie but he needs to get some decent saves in asap, I reckon.

Why the fuck did I have to have a night shift after that!!??!!
Hours of being reminded about the "worst loss of the season", starting to wonder if an accident at work is an option to numb the feeling!!!?!!!

First half we were the better team. Second they fully deserved it. Would have rather seen hussey at left back and we needed the calming influence of Wright at CB

Sharp was poor. Lavery decent. Flecks had an off game. Shot hapeens. Onwards and upwards.

I think you have to take today with a pinch of salt, I have full belief in Chris Wilder. We have played some cracking stuff this year, this is a one off and once we play the gills next week i have full confidence that we'll pick up 3 points. We are going up! Our midfield is wonderful UTB

Fuck em, at least somebody called Don didn't miss a penalty!
Don Penn who scored the late equaliser in the 4-4 draw at Fellows Park and the scorer of the penalty in that 0-1 defeat in the 1980-81 season
