Its the Jim White show with Dean Saunders and Cascarino as guest presenters.

They've just announced they are going to talk to "Deans pal" Chris Wilder about his achievements so far.

They then said how it's surprising how a PL club hasn't taken a punt on him.
Said he's a young English manager who has served his apprenticeship in the non league.
He always goes to a struggling club, stabilises them then gives them success.

Jim White called Sheff Utd a "massive club" and said there's a big Blade at Sky Sports
Who told him the only result that matters is Sheff Utd v Sheff Wed.

Dean Saunders said he'd knew Chris well as they played in the same team. He called us a "big club" and said there's a chance we might have double promotions and bounce up to the PL.

Cascarino said he'd never played agaisnt Chris but knew him quite well through a friend.
Said "Sheff Utd got 24,000 in their last match, so that tells you all you need to know about the size of the club".

Anyway I'm still listening and Wilder will be on the programme later.
I'll report back what they say but no doubt it will be "why don't PL clubs show interest"?

You and Roy should form a partnership ;-) anyway I will be waiting in anticipation, cheers.

No doubt they'll just try and tout him for a PL job, because you can't just leave a manager to do a good job at a club he's only just joined can you? Especially a club going places who are a perfect fit for him. No, everything of promise must be immediately placed in the Premier League because it's the be all and end all and it's the only thing we want to pay attention to.

i hope Wilder tells them he's building a side that will become a Premier League club - I hate it when pundits throw the 'why has a big club not come in for him' line, maybe wilder has more sense than to take the Hull job and end up in a worse position in 18 months. (Not saying he was offered the hull job just a timely example) pundits think so short term with everything. Let a manager have time to build a project.

Yeah its certainly Alex Hammond who the blade, its david garrido you want to avoid with a 10 ft bargepole. :D

I have no worries about wilder leaving if he was manage of any other 70 football league clubs (excluding us & Wednesday) then yes it possible he could go to premier league but why would he leave the club he supported all his life for a job that at this point could be sacked after 6 months.

I've put it on for the first time ever to wait for Wilder.

Is it always this shit?

I tried him out for 1st few days in September couldnt get on with it which is strange because i like jim white on ssn but he nowhere near the level of colin murray's show he had, but i guess in jim defence anyone wouldve struggled to follow him

I think anyone who takes the Hull job is doing so on the basis of the money, and the pay off when it goes tits up (and it will). Their new guy will piss off back to Portugal at the end of the season with his bag of cash.

Same here. Torture.
You should try 'The two Mikes', Parry and Graham. They are awful. Don't even talk about football a lot of the time. I have to turn them off a lot of the time.
Don't mind Jim White show and Hawksbee and Jacobs but the rest is pretty much dross most of the time.

I really liked the Colin Murray show, gutted he left but I respect his reasons

When's he due on?

Still not on yet.

It's like watching Match of the Day after we've had a great performance. We always seem to be the last match on and they show 2 minutes of highlights.

The show finishes at 1pm but they've just said Wilder is on in the next few minutes.

Will it be worth the wait?
