Vale

We've got a few away matches towards the end of the season where we'll get a big allocation

I've never had the pleasure of visiting said Port Vale, but one of the darkest corners of the British Isles I have visited is the home of the monkey hangers, Hartlepool. The only good part is that you are near the sea so you can tie a concrete block to your feet and drown yourself.

I'll be in the home end with my Vale supporting bro in law again. It's got to be better than the last few seasons surely, but I'd still be happier if we we're already promoted when we go there.

that'd be good, gaining promotion at home to a sell out Bradford game is a good one

I wouldn't mind us sealing our promotion at a dirty place like that actually, with thousands of Blades all over the stadium.

And then win the league with away at MK Dons.

That place is depression in solid form. I defy anyone to name me a more godforsaken shitheap in the football league.

Barnsley ? With that ancient ugly heap of a main stand, and the broken glass still glued into the tops of the corner walls at the away end, just like it really still was 1982.

Went to Vale back in about 95. Terrible game ended 0-0 and a terrible place. The only thing I remember about the game was that Roger Nilsen hit the the post from about 25 yards.

Surely Bury is pretty grim. Last season we came out after that god awful performance needing alcohol and nearly everything was closed!
