I'm not too sure anymore
KEVIN Blackwell will hold talks with John Halls and David Cotterill later this week before deciding whether to sign them on a permanent basis.
The Sheffield United manager confirmed after Sunday's 3-2 defeat at Southampton that he has already drawn up a list of transfer targets as he looks to continue the progress shown since his arrival in February.

Halls, Blackwell's sole signing since returning to Bramall Lane, and Cotterill, recruited by Blackwell's predecesso , Bryan Robson, have both emerged as important figures since completing loan moves from Reading and Wigan Athletic respectively.

Versatile Halls, aged 26, is poised to become a free agent when his contract at the Madejski Stadium expires this summer.

Cotterill, 20, was substituted during the first half of the game at St Mary's - which marked the end of United's brave bid for the Championship play-offs - but his poor performance against Nigel Pearson's side is unlikely to influence Blackwell's thinking as he looks to inject some pace into his squad.

:confused::confused::confused:

We went to pot after he went off?

But he was shocking himself though.

Both Cotterill and Keef struggled immensely in my opinion/

surely keef cant have much more in the tank can he?

he hasnt been the same player for some time and lets face it, it hasnt looked like he was about to break through

The summer signings / departures will tell all about SUFC i'm going to enjoy the summer and see what happens.....................

It will be very very interesting to see what happens.............

........................and also to see if the clubs aims are altered should a financial imput be a result of the hearing in june

Think that was because every time he got the ball they doubled (sometimes tripled) up on him though tbh. He seemed to give the middle of the park some more space

Keef just hasn't got the legs anymore, can't beat a man unfortunately.
