Would you ever...

A. Support a ground-share with any of our South Yorkshire/North East Derbyshire neighbours, for the benefit of local football?

B. What, if anything would make you stop following Sheffield United?
[Death is acceptable, but not your own]

A. Sheffield FC and Hallam FC absolutely, another non-league side needing a helping hand? Yes of course. Anyone else can go to hell.

B. If Sheffield United become a Red Bull "club" and change their name and colours I'm done. If they became a franchise club and moved to fucking Lincolnshire or somewhere, I'm done, If they merge with the unspeakable filth up the road, I'm done. If they ever demolish Bramall Lane and move to some soulless monstrosity, I'll nominally be a Unitedite but I'll never set foot inside any new stadium.

If a club is ever formed in protest against the above scenarios like an AFC Wimbledon or FC United, I'll support them in a heartbeat.

Tha goin t'av a reight headache tomorra if tha keeps on thinking every day.

No Blades end of football in my life and good ridens to it.

A. Only if it was Sheffield F.C.
B. Moving out of Sheffield, or merging with another club

It's more about following the Blades than the football with me. If United ceased to be, my interest in the beautiful game would fizzle out with them.
I simply can't watch a game as a neutral, without the aid of a bookie.

Watched the game tonight. Saw wet spam getiing thrashed. Wished it was us doing the thrashing . First and foremost, really want some payback. 2nd. what a snobbish club who thinks it has a right to be there. 3rd they treat other local clubs with distain when they are struggling. Rotherham, when they actually went to a hotel to change for the game.
What a set of disrespectful BASTARDS who I would love to see fail.

Ooh, my first post.... Ground share, so long as we weren't playing at Rotherham etc that would be possible.. Upto now, nothing has stopped me supporting the Blades and we have been through plenty of shite..... Lots of shite to be fair

A. Yes, but only as a temporary measure to help one of the smaller clubs if they fall on hard times. Wendy? Nay, nay and thrice nay.

B. Good question.... An awful lot. The club would have to cease to be itself, according to my current understanding of what it exists for. Either that or it's proven to have been responsible for the rise of Hitler or the music of Toploader.

A. Yes to any local club in need of support. We Blades are magnanimous, caring souls.

B. What stopped me following in the past was seeing players wearing the shirt who couldn't give a monkeys about the club, and a board who seemed to care even less. Although, I never truly stopped following. You can't, somehow. Something deep inside won't let you. I would lose faith, though, if future owners took the club in a direction not in keeping with the fans idea of the club's identity. We are Sheffield United, it's our club. What we think of our club, and what we want our club to be, matters. Mr. McCabe has been chastised from pillar to post, but he's still here, and so are we, and he cares, and so do we. I hope our future owners are chosen with care.

United and Hitler were born in the same year. I think that's where the Nazi Party got their colours.

Then the ungrateful cunt goes and bombs Bramall Lane. He went down in my estimation after that. He was basically the Che Adams of his time.

Just to give you a little joy. Also always nice to remember we beat them in a last match ever with them at the boleyn ground (that sentiment warms my heart)

This is some amusing bonus footage as well

A - Yes I'd be happy if some other local team needed to share BDTBL. Pigs can fook right off though.
B - Adrian Heath already achieved it at the end of last century, if only for a few months.
This might seem daft, but I may stop going if we ever get back to the premier league. I hate everything about it.

A...Not really
B...No,wouldn't be the same.

A - Anybody but the filth. Wouldn't want them anywhere near the Lane and it wouldn't benefit football. The bastards going bust would.
B - Not even death, my Blades tattoo will be there as long as my skin is, and I left instructions that I want 'SUFC - FUCK OFF W*******Y' engraved in my skull.

UTBFTFP

Oooh, a queston!

A I'd only ever ground share with Billy Graham

B Plenty on here have a pop at McCabe but he is a Blade. If you look what has happened at Darlo, Hereford, Wimbledon, Charlton and even the Lady Godiva tosspots, it could have been FAR FAR worse. A rapacious owner with no concern for who we are and our history might drive me to the car park and then away from the club.

"I may stop going if we ever get back to the premier league. I hate everything about it".

Not on yer own with that.

I might go back on my words for the European Cup final.
