Edit to add: We’ve also probably lost our most passionate player. Alwags bang up for it and a leader.
Fingers crossed we get a similar character in” “

Like that.Like that a lot.

Yeah you say that but really you're pleased that there's somebody else at the Lane who enjoys 'pissing antics'!

Im glad we have someone like him who can replace any one of our midfield. It was quite apparent on Monday that leaving out Coutts and Duffy made us weaker and we had so much less possession than normal and it was noticeable that we were better when they both came on (although Coutts nearly gave a goal away with that back pass!) Looks a good piece of business by CW

He was without doubt MKs best player at the Lane.

Combative midfielder with a good touch to boot.

Not sure why he would come here if not for regular football. Not likely to be happy with the bench.

Which, sadly suggests to me that one of Fleck or Coutts may be looking like going. I would guess Coutts. Which would be a shame.

I remember reading views from Oxford about signing Wright. They said he wasn't up to it and that he'll be well out of his depth. In fact he wasn't even going to get a look in at Oxford but guess what? He's top of the league with us and he hasn't put a foot wrong. In Wilder I trust. UTB!!!

I can understand why you'd think that Dronnie, but I also imagine that Wilder will have made no promises other than to tell SC that when his chance comes to take it with both feet and give Wilder a difficult problem to consider. Competition for places is what we've rarely had, that's beginning to change. It will keep the players on their toes and ensure we attempt to maintain something close to consistency.

He can piss in a pint pot every week for me so long as he helps us out of this chuffin league and we keep winning games!

I think we look really out of sorts if one of our midfield are rested / injured - he should provide that option. Good signing imo

Where's the 'Charlton's fans views on Samir Carruthers' ?

Thanks Roy. The MK Dons fans will have a chance of seeing him on April 22nd.

(If they can get a ticket !)

"I’ll be gutted if we lose Ben Reeves who I think is our most talented player and adds proper flare to the squad."

No pyro no party

Ignore the comment about couldn't pass 5 yards it's by a pig with over 2,000 posts on Porktalk.
Not sure who he actually supports MK or the pigs, but he says on Porktalk he's been watching him for 3 1/2 years, but is also a member on Porktalk with over 2,000 posts.

More likely to add to what we have ,with Whiteman out on loan and Reed maybe leaving ,we need bodies now.

Not so sure mate ....... don't forget that Duffy is 32 so he may be seen as a replacement for him in due course .....

Wright and Sharp are also 32 ....... so I would expect to see a dominant CH and a proven goalscorer coming in at the latest, in the summer.

Apart from that you're bob on ;)

32?

Clarke is 32 next month, I'll give you that. But Sharp is 31 next month and Duffy Isn't 32 until next season!

Beat me to it!

I always find these views from very interesting...

Game of opinions after all but I can't think of too many of our players who would have gone with universal sadness from our fans (Maguire the last?)

Recently the likes of DCL, Adams and Murphy received similar mixed comments about lack of end product and consistency, attitude and ability. Just as Fleck did from the Coventry fans.

I'm excited to see how he does here - if he brings his drive and will to win i'm sure he'll be a hit.

Anyone who wasn't sad to see Murphy go can't have known much about football. Right at the end of the transfer window it was too.

Fully agree on that - was like the hand break was put on our season immediately. Especially when you consider it was Woolford who replaced him.

However, I remember comments on his lack consistency and the impact he had on big games.

I'm sure part of it was just trying to rationalise the blow of loosing one of our very best players

The Murphy/Carruthers comparison interests me because, like Fleck, genuinely good players can struggle at times in failing teams. It's really tough to be consistent when your team mates are poor.

So it doesn't worry me a bit that this lad gets mixed reviews when he's been playing in a team that's plummeting through the leagues.

Agree, i'd rather have someone who clearly has the natural talent and may just need the right formation / manager / team mates to fully unlock it.

Doesn't sound like he is a fair weather player either given the comments on his commitment etc and he's still only 23 so potentially not fully matured his game to cope in a struggling side.

We struggled massively last year to the point that there wasn't really a star performer people would have cared too much about leaving. While the likes of Freeman and Coutts leaving now would get a different reaction.

I stand corrected mate ;)

But the theory remains ....... Clarke Duffy Sharp and Wright are in the twilight of their careers and we must look to the future ....
