'Hard to forget his Cheltenham antics'

Funny that, because I completely forgot about that 'story' and I didn't even know it was him that did it.

He did a wee in a glass. It's hardly money laundering.

Yeah but it made my pint warmer, you bastard.

Reminds me of the Coventry fans feedback on Fleck. Stuff like "on his day he's decent but that isn't regular enough"

Of course Fleck was their player of the season but there you go! I like the comments about him been a leader and caring about the club and giving his all etc. These type of players always seem to do well at the Lane as opposed to fancy dans who are often lazy and not good enough to produce their best to get away with been lazy etc.

Can't see him as a goal scoring midfielder though and the club said he is an attacking mid?

One quotes his being their most talented player since Alli. I'm happy enough.

Some of those Fleck comments are fucking hilarious in hindsight.

Also proof that there was plenty of reason to hate Coventry before SISU-gate.

My fave quote is "“We have been carrying him.”

That's Coventry who are now in the bottom 4 whilst Fleck is playing for a side at the top of the league

Don't care what they think, for one reason they support MK and therefore are clearly "new" to the game so know fuck all, but mainly because....against MK other week, I was pretty clear in my own assessment.

Basically...after 2 minutes I remarked to my brother..."who the fuck's that lad...he's quality" .....and after he got injured..."thank god he's gone off"

That'll do me.
Had similar remarks about Fleck by the way...though he didn't go off injured.

Carruthers played for Villa in the Youth Cup semi-final at the Lane. Missed a penalty from memory. Started out at Arsenal.
(Apologies if this point has been made elsewhere)

Fleck, Coutts and Duffy needed more competition than just Scougle. They're all going to have to be on their game to keep their places now which is just as it should be.

It'll be interesting to see how this pans out in the starting line ups, any 3 from 4 I'd assume. I can't see how they'd all play together unless we revert back to 4-4-2 in some games.

Sounds like a future captain, midfielder who is passionate

Don't think we should take much notice of the negative comments. I can remember our fans saying the same about Murphy, Blackman, McDonald etc.
This signing will probably mean the end of Scougall for us (not a bad thing imo).
