Not sure how true, but heard a few fans talking about funds for January at the game yesterday, oldish blokes at the wrong side of 50.. anyhow they said they'd been told Kevin McCabe sees this as the best chance of promotion in the last 5 years and is willing to pay "what it takes" to get us up and is making sure Wilder is planning for the Championship already by trying to sign players that will be good enough for next season should we get there.

Hopefully the loan wage for Elliott Bennett won't be too much to ask then, for a start!

We are to after 24 games, have more points than any other season since we got down here, and with the exception of the first 4 games haven't looked like going on a bad run.

Hardly takes Columbo to come to a realisation like that now does it...

Affronted, insulted and angry (reaches up and takes old crooked spectacles off forehead, polishes them with a breath over the top of them, kick starts zimmer frame and straightens beige, Prince of Wales check flares with turn ups. Sucks on Werthers in a very intimidating fashion and reaches into inside pocket to check for the fourth time that bus pass is still in there!) that 50 is considered Oldish!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(:mad:

Talking of loan fees, I never knew they were so expensive. Chris Martin cost £3m for Fulham to take from Derby (according to SSN). And now he's had a strop and wants to go home. Bananas in every way.

Whatever he has said or not said,he should be thinking i will never have a better opportunity to get out of Lg 1,and give Wilder his full backing.

Unsubstantiated hearsay from a source known to be unreliable translates into KM is telling lies?

I think that's half the point even if true there would always be a caveat and rightly so. Like many politicians people always say what what people want to hear, but people shouldn't be stupid and gullible to believe these game statements like "we will pay whatever it takes and game changing investment "
It still doesn't turn KM into Satan
