We will need that ground redevelopment sooner rather than later, I know we are biased but show me a better fan base anywhere and I'll eat my hat. Fantastic.

Charltons crowd must've dwarfed us surely, they're by far the biggest club in league one, it's a fact!!!!!

Hahahahahaha...........fuckin simpletons! hahahahahaha.

And as season ticket holders me and my wife would have been counted and we couldn't make either game!!!!!

I sat in one seat today (different to my season ticket), moved to another cause I thought the usual person wasn't sitting there, then they came so I moved back to the seat I was originally sat in, plus I was sat in another different seat to my season ticket for the Oldham match. Does that count as 6 people?

Just a mention that, in the last 6 days, over 50,000 fans have attended the two games at BDTBL. Just 2200 were away fans. In the third tier. After being stuck down here for almost 6 seasons. Remarkable.
Alright alright I know I put a few pounds on over Christmas but counting me twice? Cheeky bastard!

I'd say Newcastle averaging 51k is up there.

Do they count season ticket holders even if they weren't there??????????????

Yeah, but thats because Mike Ashley pays his staff bonuses in matchday tickets rather than 20p pieces!!!

It's amazing what hiring a champions league winning manager and spending approx 60million in the summer can do to boost attendances. I think after only 1 season in the Premiership in 25 years and consecutive seasons in the third tier they would struggle to get near 20 thousand consistently. Biggest myth in football is the toon army being up there as the best fans in the country.

Had a bloke and his pal sat next to us on the Kop,he remarked it was his first visit for 3 years, they left early and missed the feckin GOAL.

I've genuinely never understood leaving early in games like this unless it's an emergency. You pay good money, and you leave before the most exciting part of the game? That goal from Freeman is the moment that makes football worth coming to.

When did they last play 6 back to back seasons in this league?

You said "show me a fan base anywhere and I'll eat my hat". At no point did you give a league requirement, I didn't even say they're better - I believe I said "averaging 51k is up there".

The level of support, not only this season, but
I'd say Newcastle averaging 51k is up there.
True, but not exactly under the same circumstance that this fan base has endured.

Wifes 6 months pregnant took baby today can we count that one or if its twins.those two
