Can't be arsed to argue with anyone after a blades win

Started slowly and looked like wilder had trusted the players not to eat too much turkey.

Said it was a game for Clarke but I was for a chesterfield style sub where lafferty went to 3rd cv done lwb.

Clarke did enough to start over done on saturday

We won, great goal by billy. Bit shit isn't he? Night

The effort was there its not like they peppered our goal and had us up. We just struggled to win the second balls. All we needed was a little spark to help settle us settle down, Billy's finish provided it. You can criticise but there are better ways of doing it. Using words like shit regarding this team is ridiculous. Lack

Oldham had a plan. Disrupt the game, break any rhythm and slow it down. Anyone else notice how every time we had a decent attack and the fans got going one of their players was immediately injured for a minute or three!? And that happened from the first minute.

Instead of lambasting the players, a little more understanding and thought is needed. Teams know we are the best side in this league. They know if they try to play us at football alone we will invariably win. So they try to disrupt us. Thankfully we won through in the end.

Obviously Wilder needs more convincing that your "common sense" conclusion is that Done just runs around. Threadbare? Results speak for themselves. I would say your more like a never ending record who doesn't like Done (your perogative) and thinks anyone who doesn't think like you doesn't know there football. Give it a fuckin rest man

With regards the OP, though a little brutal SBT is generally right. We were poor by our recent standards and they didn't park the bus like some. They harassed us and played there part but our tempo wasn't good enough and were we're bang average at times.
However there will always be games that a successful side will win without playing well. We soon forget them but the points are there. Colchester, Scunny, Tranmere, Aldershot, Port Vale...... all games we won at home in the 4th division and didn't play that well. The 15 points were all that mattered though

We need to take hold of games from the get go at home. Today was piss poor with massive over elaboration and lack of off the ball movement throughout.
3 points but yet again we fail to deliver in front of a big crowd.

Not good enough at all. One point off the top place after being bottom in September. Sack the board and Tufty
 
Oldham worked very hard and very well tactically in the first half ,kept the ball away from our midfield 3 and pressed hard making us go long. 3 times we managed to get the ball through the middle ,looked good but didn't convert just had a succession of corners. They inevitably ran out of steam mentally playing that way allowing Duffy to get more on the ball ,then we took over. Why do people who go to football not see any of this and just see ,we were shit ,we were great blah blah blah. We are now poised perfectly at this time of the season with a full strength squad ,more to come and most of the crowd behind the team. what a bastard eh ?

If, as you say, results speak for themselves, then the last two are crying out 'Hey, you lot look better and win games without Done on the pitch." Unlike some, I put the best interests of the club over a preference for a particular player. I'm staggered that you Runarounders take a different view.

If you had,and I put myself in the mindset of the average "extra" today who had to queue to get in,queue to sit down,queue to take a piss,queue to buy some shit to eat/drink and watch a piss poor match saved only by the eventual superiority of the better side deep into the second half,gone through that experience,possibly with partner and kids,would you be in a rush to be at the game on Saturday?
As diehards we don't think that way,but others do,and I can assure you the club want and need all those "meaningless extras " to move forward.
There's way too much "Fuck off if you don't suck dick whatever we do or play like" and any voice that disagrees is totally out of kilter.
Those voices aren't.

We get that you don't rate him. You've made your reasons clear. Your not the only one and entitled to your opinion. Do you have to ram it down our throats week in week out??

One of Wilder's best qualities for me is his honest and straight talking post match interviews where he tells things as he sees them.........not a hint today of him being pissed off with application or effort, just compliments about the opposition raising their game and making it difficult for us. We all know that we weren't at our best today, but to say we were shit or couldn't give a fuck is over the top and wide of the mark in my opinion. We will probably play better and not win at some stage so I'll take the deserved 3 points and look forward to the next game
