According to the"Sun" this lad is playing for Blades reserves tomorrow on a trial. 21 year old former Soke "prospect" Cardiff fancied him but he didn`t fancy them. Australian striker.

Had a rough couple of years with injuries by the looks of it, was a big prospect before that - Played and scored for Australia U23. Could be an interesting one, if true.

Great name. Sign him up.

On the other hand, knee ligament tear victim. Avoid.

Anyone know anything about him then, other than he's had many injuries!? Seems a risk to me but he also seems to have been a bright prospect until the injuries. Maybe worth a contract till the end of the season. Not likely to be the guy that spear heads us to promotion though!?

Started at the QPR Academy which he impressed there and was signed by Stoke City for 300k but picked up a serious knee injury which has held him back a lot for the past two years so Stoke decided to release him, he has impressed on Trials at other clubs recently such as Cardiff City and Derby County but has yet not received any contract offers so i don't think personally he will sign for us i think its just for him to get a bit of game time and gain fitness because i don't think Wilder will be interested in giving him a contract for the senior team, Although he was a bright prospect at qpr before he picked up the injury so its a shame for the lad hopefully he does impress when he plays for our U23's today. But like you said if he plays well in the trial it might be worth giving him a contract until the end of the season but i dont think he would have any chance of getting into the team ahead of Sharp, Done, Lavery and Clarke, he would likely be playing most of the time for our academy team.

He's had ligament tears on both knees. Released by Stoke in the summer. Glyn Hodges was coaching Skapetis there, maybe he's suggested Wilder had a look at him?

I always prefer Aussies to have a name which can be shortened or is already short.

If he's prepared to be known as 'Pete' then he should be ok. Peter is a little too formal for an Aussie.

Names such as Mick, Carl, Bernie are all acceptable. Alternatively if he's known as Skapo, even better

Just seen this on twitter? Never heard of him personally, young player could be worth a punt, sounds like he is playing for the U23's today.

You're not wrong, Swiss, but I needed to add the 'just kidding' for my own virtual safety.

Good enough for Derby's squad but wants to be playing?
Hmm I'll say this is a non-starter.

That's just the pine disinfectant they use, now get your head out of the urinal.
