just seen we have got more tickets ,not been for a few years so dont no the lay out of the ground is it true we had 3 sides of the ground a few years ago if so anyone think we might get even more tickets as iam way down on points list

The game's on general sale on Monday so I doubt you have an issue

We had two and a half sides sides, behind each net and to the right near right of the normal away end. The tickets for the side stand weren't on sale until the day though, I don't think anyway

It won't matter anyway. Once the stand behind the goal sells out, which it most likely will, the tickets for the other stand are general sale, so loyalty points won't matter. I don't think you'll have a problem getting a ticket.

And how's about Walsall please?? 2400 tickets, do you reckon it'll sell out? Will it go general sale? Cheers

We will have more than half the ground, I think the initial allocation is just behind one goal though.

I haven't been to a Blades game for quite a while, so looking forward to going to Bury to see em play and hopefully get 3 points. Phone the ticket office on Friday and bought two tickets for collection on the day. Driving over to the UK for the new year and also up north for this game.

We had three sides of the ground back in 2012, Cresswell, Evans and Williamson scored and we won 3-0. It felt more like a home game, and young Blades lads spent almost all the game doing "The Conga" around the ground and singing. We were on fire that season, until.............ah well.

The atmosphere in the Swan And Cemetery before and after the game was good too. Not sure it was away fans only, but it would make sense commercially if it were.

It's worth going to Bury just to stock up on the best black dag in the world.

Got my tickets for this morning just in time. Just 90 tickets available from an allocation of 3,259.....so looks a pretty much nailed on sell-out.

Their last home Game Vs Oxford drew just 2, 986 in total!

Reckon they will get a few more as its the mighty Blades and maybe 'cos its holiday season, but looks like pretty much 50:50 split!

Last time I went to Bury there was an incident with some ketchup. I shan't be going again.
Last time I went to Bury it pissed it down, Adkins stood on the touchline looking utterly lost, George Long played a blinder and those Blades there saw the worst performance by United since we've been down here....... and there have been a few

Just looking on the official website, and noticed that with 3250 sold already, Bury are not sending another allocation. I suspect that if United pick up 6pts from the 2 home games, they might just have a problem with Blades fans on the home end at Gigg Lane on January 2nd!!

I wonder if Bury will send us another 500 or so to try to counter this?

Cant make this one but surely Bury missing a trick if they dont give us another 1,500 in the other stand behind the goal. They are chucking money away if they dont.

The other year we had 5,000+ in the ground on 2 and a half sides and it may be the same again. Not sure what they achieve by not giving us more as many Blades may just turn up in this stand anyway. They could move their home fans to the side stand. Mind you might annoy them but they need the cash surely?

I'm almost certain we didn't have 5,000 tickets allocated the year we won 3-0. That would be ludicrous to be honest, you have to draw the line somewhere I think.

The attendance was 6970 and we sold out 3 sides of the ground.

It was both ends of the ground and half of one side stand. I remember them giving us one final end a few days before. Bury fans were not arsed - they were just glad of the money. It might have been closer to 4,000? Cant remember. It was bizaree seeing Blades basically having most of the ground away from home. Not sure GMP would care as there is no rivalry to speak of and not sure there would be any trouble

if you went directly to online ticket site, like I always do, it wasn't made very clear that tickets are not being posted as normal. It should have offered choice of where to pick up, but apparently that was missing the other day.
After noon 31 Dec they will automatically get sent from S2 to Bury
