Singers and magicians are very subjective so that's a pretty poor comparison. Footballers are there to help one result: winning a game of football. Matt Done has been adjudged by many managers to be a good enough player to help do that. With good reason too, he influences games. He can even influence a game without scoring, as much of a crazy concept that might be. If you were at the game on Saturday, you'll have seen this first hand and how often his "Runaround" work won us possession back.

And any talk about obsession from yourself can only be an attempt at humour.

Aah, the old "nightmare for defenders" myth. We'll be churning out the "pace" everyone used to say he had soon. In point of fact, defenders love playing against non-scoring strikers. The thought of any half-decent defender thinking, "Fucking hell I'm up against Runaround Nogoals on Saturday" is risible. The Swindon keeper must have been petrified as he saw who was bearing down on him to miss chances.

We'll be a far better team when he's not on the pitch in 2017.

CW said on Radio sheff after Satdi, "Doney's luck will change in front of goal soon, could be against Coventry on Thurs" the way he was speaking certainly pointed towards Done starting.....and I hope he does, he was a very close second to Duffy as MOM for me...he deserved a goal.

Coventry's home record: Played 10, scored 10, conceded 7.

One of the best home defences in the league and they generally don't get hammered.

Maybe they're at rock bottom now though so a heavy home defeat wouldn't be a massive shock.

I remember Cov coming to The Lane at this stage last season live on TV, they were absolutely flying, playing some great football with Fleck dominating midfield and looking nailed on for promotion..

We on the other hand were managed by Nigel Adkins...

They absolutely battered us had a goal about half a foot over the line not given, played us off the pitch... and we one nil with a goal in off Sharp's arse.

I hope the Football Gods aren't planning to even up the score.

I shall be delighted if he does score a goal. It's an essential function for a striker. His failure to perform such function resulted in him losing his place in the team and will do again.

Exactly. Cerebus Blade beware your false optimism. The Blades can and will screw up when statistically they shouldn't. This is because of entropy a fundamental law in the universe which even applies to the Blades.

He lost his place due to your sibling CW wanting to give the man he brought in a chance to prove himself whilst giving Matty Done a break, your sibling then realised it quite clearly wasn't working and decided to go back to what was working, making the team better in the meantime, leading to better results. Thank fuck for your sibling pinchers.
