Extremely dismissive of Scunthorpe, and the job they are doing.

No good reason they can't go on and do a "Leicester" in my view.

Which is why our squad and manager should not get caught up in the hype. Under Tufty, I doubt this could happen. But we must remain focused on the job in our own hands.

Very complimentary view from a guy who on the face of it seems a decent fella. No whinging or feeling sorry for themselves....just a balanced response.

He will get them sorted out.

Anyway, when football people are making remarks like that...."champions elect" I get a bit of a fuzzy feeling. Lots of us are seeing signs of a very good side here, and it's always nice to hear people in the game, neutrals, and opponents like him have that opinion.

Chaps, less of the superstitious nonsense, if we get promoted it'll be because we deserve it. There's an indefinable fighting spirit, the Blades have it, and in Wilder we also retain our focus. I'm not suggesting that points won't be dropped, or that form might, temporarily, go awol, but can anyone, seriously, imagine our manager allowing our players to drift off into a spiral of mediocrity?

Chris Brass is a You Tube sensation because of an own goal he once scored when he kicked the ball into his own face and it rebounded into the net. He seems like a good guy, but not a very lucky one.

Bury need to get rid of a couple of bad apples, though. Jacob Mellis is trouble with a capital T, and always has been, while Tom Pope is a fool. Booked for arguing over Mellis's sending off he continued griping as he walked off at half time and gave Brass little option but to substitute him before he moaned himself into a red card. The pair of them let the manager and their team mates down, and very probably not for the first time either.

I agree about Scunthorpe being under-rated. They keep winning week after week and are top of the table because they deserve to be. It's up to us to keep making them win in order to stay ahead.

Managers in his position are more inclined to be complimentary. Remember he's got to give reasons for why Bury have been losing every week for the last two months or more. Talking us up takes some attention of his lads who offered nothing to the game other than avoiding a heavier defeat.
