Charlton appoint Karl Robinson

They seem super-confident. I suppose their real test will be when they hit a sticky spell, which they definitely will do, they can't possibly keep going at this rate - they've got an identical points total to (& better goal difference than) Wolves had 3 seasons back at this stage. Orient too had a similar record (with an even better goal difference).
But to the outsider, we probably seem confident, singing 'the Blades are going up' etc.
I wonder if two teams promoted from the same division have had the same initials before?

Strangely enough, i fancy United to win comfortably on Saturday. I thought Tuesday v Bury had Utd fuk up written all over that game.

A little perspective please. Charlton aren't suddenly a great team. All opponents require our respect (not too much though) and to gain the upper hand we have to work for what we deserve. Nothing is ours of a right, we must impose ourselves, not an inch given to the fuckers. Remember we're good players but that doesn't entitle us to anything unless we work harder than the other team. A zip in our step, a yard faster, a thought quicker, these are the things that will take us over the line.

From the lost oratory of Harry Haslam, or whoever fits the bill UTB

I can't stand that smarmy twat.

Hope he loses every game and gets the sack, is found to be a secret gambler, loses his home and ends up living in a hostel.

Fecking smarmy, grinning prick.

And breath...

Hilarious really.

Bury get mullered 5-1 before playing us so therefore are nailed on to turn us over.

Charlton win 5-1 before playing us so are nailed on to turn us over.

Truth is that both of those teams are still in a mess, regardless of who is coming in to manage them. How about showing some faith in the manager and team that seem to keep winning.

Quite right Sir, less of this snivelling brown-nosing and more support for Lord Wilder and his red and white warriors.

Tough game already, just got a bit more difficult with them out to impress Robinson

A point would be gladly accepted with the game in hand to follow on Tuesday to get back in the top top two if we do drop out on Saturday.

This is our biggest test. It would've been hard against an inconsistent Slade side just because they are Charlton and have some quality players - nevermind a new manager boom, on the back of a 5-1 win, and that manager being one who seems to have a knack on how to beat us 1-0.

Let's take it to them from minute 1 and see how they handle it.

Agree biggest test so far this year.

Their tails will be up after winning 5-1 away from home,if they beat us and win the game in hand and results go their way, they will be in the top six with us,thats quite a big carrot for them.

We are more than capable of getting a result down there.

No idea. But Southend are only 2 points off the play offs, 3 teams would surely be a first

Still feel Charlton will be a totally different propersition than Bury or Shrewsbury at home. You won't find them sitting 2 banks if 4 behind the ball. They will have a go at us which will, in turn leave us far more space to operate. Think it will be a cracker and with 3000+ blades behind them our lads will be bang at it too. Should be a cracker but we've nothing to fear. We have the superior quality at the moment.

We are a funny bunch aren't we?

Either everything is doom or we are the best side ever. Nothing in between.

On Tuesday night a bloke behind me in the South Stand shouted 'get it sorted Wilder, this is a fucking disgrace.' . Mind you this guy doesn't do much as clap, never mind stand up when we score and he's been a season ticket holder for many years. I do genuinely wonder why he bothers with united.

Not sure what my point is now, so I'll stop writing.. any .. time.. now... and I've stopped. .. now.
You must be sat somewhere near me then, I couldn't believe it when I heard it........ hope you are not the bloke I had to gob at, at the first game off the season for telling me and the young un to sit down as we sang GCB............

If so I will have to,put you in the Twats section

Sods Law . Charlton score all goals for the next game at Wimbledon . Can see a 2.0 win for the Blades .

We've done in the past . Won a game 5.1 and then lost the next game .

Wilder has made us fit , strong , confident , fearless , with focus . Let us lot be the same , so fuck the negativity and doubt . Karl Robinson a nobody .

Fuck Robinson and fuck Charlton, let's have the bastards!

Apart from that, they're a nice club. :)

My favourite away trip, my favourite London team (though they've not got much competition).

But... Up The Blades, Robinson (still a whiff of plastic) will find out the depth of the problems this weekend.

But, again, I hope they get out of trouble

New manager syndrome is a myth.

We're a better side with better players than Charlton.

Does that mean we'll definitely win? No, but I don't understand all the nerves.
They're not a bad side on paper. They've woefully underperformed under Slade.

I'm more concerned that they've won two in a row than the fact they've appointed Farley. They're certainly beatable though.

They've got some decent players and put some good results together. And the overwhelming likelihood is that between now and the end of the season we'll have at least one result where everyone says we dropped points, played poorly, and have a minor panic. Saturday might be that day. Still, on the face of it, I don't fear them.

So Robinson is really their new manager? Or is he just bluffing?

Lots of hate for Robinson. He's always been very complimentary towards us in interviews. I am convinced he wants the job here one day.

Ha not guilty mate.
You can stand up and sing loud and proud for me. Pretty much the only fuckers that do in the south stand.
