Can't see any issues with this. KM already owns the site and has done for many years and has already developed 2 successful office buildings there. He is no mug when it comes to property development and will have been very well advised on the viability of a retail scheme there and made the decision accordingly.

There was a little private members club tucked away in the corner after the first set of escalators. Proper "dirty mac" clientele from what I used to see going in (Cineplex, Cinecenta or similar name).
Classic had a few cert X films going on but not unclassified stuff.

Its Scarborough's money, if they see an investment in sheffield I'm all for it, I, like most everybody else who loves our city want to see investment, how many times do I see leeds on look north with yet another major project in the city, wether you like mccabe or not if he thinks its a good investment then I support him, the more successful his business the more successful he is the more (hopefully) his backing of the blades is. I wish folk would stop knocking our city, I for one fucking loves Sheffield.

I love Sheffield, but lets be honest, it is quite a state. I have also seen many people mention this on this forum previously, so I know I am not alone.

On the opposite side of the road at the bus stop there used to be a map of the city centre with buttons that when pressed illuminated particular landmarks. Sheffield's first step into technology.

I think Kev like the rest of us as kids messed about with that map, lighting up as many as possible.

It's now evolved into the Digital Campus some 200 yards away.
