February Big 3

Looking at the form over the last 10 games. We are top of the league by 3 points having played both the top 2 in those games and 4 of the other 5 of the current top 6.

Admittedly those are big games but Teams should be starting to fear us for a change - especially at home this time round.

The upside to that scary looking February is that until then every fixture should have us down as clear favourites. If we can put ourselves solidly in the top two before then the pressure on the others will be huge.

Can't remember which thread it was in but someone put a link up to this page re our form over the last ten games.
Having looked in to it further I've come to the conclusion that whoever runs that page is a bloody sadist.... predicted to finish 3rd (again) on 90 points (again) no automatic promotion (again).
Not to mention the fact they think we'll only win another two away games this season.

They've got us down to lose away to Peterborough and Port Vale and pretty much draw every other away game. They've certainly not looked at results so far this season and current form when putting that together, we've won 4 away already and our forms completely changed from the bad start of the season.

I reckon if any team gets 90 points this season theyll go up automatically
the year we missed out on 90 several clubs were cut adrift so the points spread meant the top got more
no ones that far adrift this season

I have flights booked to come over for the game on 18th February. Could well be a cracker if the we can maintain our current form. As a blade who is generally watching from a distance the sense of pride and renewed optimism that has been established over the last 2 months is almost palpable on this forum. Well done Chris WIlder and all involved. The fans need tremendous credit for sticking with the team after a horrendous start to the season. Certainly being rewarded now.

It will be interesting to see how that prediction table will change over the next month, software algorithms behind it.
