My lad noticed at the start of the second half that Mark Duffy had changed his boots. I dont notice what kind of boots our players wear and am always amazed at my lad's knowledge of boots that players wear. We all saw that Duffy played a lot better in the 2nd half and this reminds me of Billy's Boots in the Tiger comic!

Billy changed his boots previously, and then scored about 7 goals in them after changing

I can only think his mum turned up at half time with Great Grandad 'Dead-Cross Duffy's' boots that she had mistakenly taken in a bag of clothes to Oxfam the day before.

Just in time too.

I think he sobered up too, he played like he was pissed for 60 mins!

I thought he'd just had them on the wrong feet in the first half :-)

He played a real game of two halves although his crossing was Kozlukesque in both halves. At one point, he set himself up perfectly for a cross with some real trickery and then completely overhit the cross. I never cease to be amazed at how footballers can do the difficult thing and mess up the easy bit straight after.
