I want the hardest team left in away or the worst team at home.

There would be a very good chance that it would be live on the box thoughSome of these non-league teams will be a struggle to get tickets on general sale.
Surely even the non league teams would have more fight in them than the O's did yesterday

1982. We won at Sincil Bank the following seasonYou're right - it was a league match I was thinking about - 29th September 1983
Thought it was FA Cup -
Stourbridge Away for me please (suspect it would be switched to Kiddiminster, Wolves or WBA)
I heard that on the highlights. Did they have a second commentator or was that someone in the studio with his mic left on? Seems odd to have a second commentator if they're only showing highlights. The best bit of the commentary yesterday was when the 2nd commentator said "Sunday league teams wouldn't even look at some of these Orient players" right before the shambolic back pass that led to the 6th![]()
Agreed. Though not the same competitive games I love watching the Blades at places like Worksop and Ilkeston in pre season. Proper grass roots football, non of this fake part time premier league we get subjected toNot the same though![]()
Borehamwood if they beat Notts county, away as its about 1/2 hour away from me so nice and easy to get to![]()
If we're drawn at home it's more than likely it'll be a Sunday again (unless it's TV game) as our hugely filthy neighbours are struggling at home again'hopefully' on the Saturday.
Lincoln in FA Cup was a draw, think 1-1, we beat them in the replay at the Lane with a very late goal, if memory serves, from Stan the Man.
Think the 3-0 defeat was the previous season in the Group Cup pre-season.

I'll second that but it's even closer for me (15 minutes). I know of 2 other Blades who actually live in Borehamwood. Party Time!!!
I'll take Sutton away too, 5 minute walk from my in-laws' house. Actually, on second thoughts that means actually seeing them!!!

I know a couple of lads who are Lincoln fans so this would be ideal, and not that far away.
