Think it's highly unlucky, hopefully it's only a 1 match dip, got to have a bit of luck with other teams around the top 6 losing, but god knows we deserve some luck.

It would have been a bonus to reach the playoffs after the season weve had.
Got to keep going right to the end & finish the season on a high note ready for next season :D

The best chance we had under Blackwell was only a small one, and this has realistically gone. All we have to look forward to for the rest of the season is a decent finish and thrashing the pigs.

In all fairness, it might not be the worst thing in the world to have another season in the fizzy pop-ship; I'd hate to go up early, before Blackie's had chance to sort the team out (I think what he's done is a start, but there's still a way to go), and end up woefully under-prepared and doing a Derby.

To be fair i think it is over but you just have to keep believing

Do we? You said yourself it's pretty much over, not that i don't agree with you, promotion is not beyond the realms of possibility, but it is just within, to have any sort of chance, we have to win pretty much every game we have left, and that does seem pretty farfetched (Not that i'm getting at Blackie or the team)

I concur. The league this year has been piss poor... you only have to look at Bristol's points total to see that. The three teams that go up are going to get battered all over in the Premiership and I wouldn't want the confidence knock quite so soon after the way we were relegated the other year.

It was always mission impossible as far as im concerned, all i was looking for was some signs of improvement and happily they have come. I am hopeful that some of the kids will see some action in the remaining games and that the likes of Stead and Shelton are given more of a chance to prove their worth.

I agree with the point that another season in this league will do us good but we have to do the business next time around if we are to achieve well publicised goals of our board.

I have to say the the prospect of Hull and Bristol City in the prem is something of an embarassment. I know that they will be there on merit but i would put my mortgage on both teams doing a derby next year meaning the prem will be even less competitive then it already is.
