Does anyone know this dickhead who has been banned from football for three years for his part in the Grimsby hooliganism ! Should be banned for life !

No. Silent was banned after a 1-0 win against Blackburn Rovers on 26th March 1987. Keith Edwards scored with a header 14.26 yards out with a 39 degree angle to the near post following a Colin Morris corner (Kop/John St) on 57 minutes and 31 seconds. It was raining.

You forgot to mention boarding school, that's right, BOARDING school. Usually gets a mention, no fucking idea why, it's just school after all

I am thinking it's Silent..

Go on then ....... because it adds colour and provides context to memories that I guess many, myself included, find interesting and informative.

Hope that helps.

I think you are mistaken Raul, it was 14.27 yards. I guess it's an age thing and your memory isn't what it used to be.:-)

Clearly a false account Raul as Silent would have explained why Colin Morris was taking the corner and not Edwards himself as he was the designated corner taker for some strange reason. ;)

I'm sure Silent is fully aware that Edwards' last appearance for the Blades was on 1st August 1986 :)

Maybe it isn't just a boarding school ,and is a vital part of Silent which is important in the context of what he posts ? Just a thought.

Yes, being at boarding school between Aug 1973 and June 1979 made me miss some of Blades matches so I wouldn't be able to describe the goals we scored unless I saw them on tv.

I missed seeing us beat Arsenal 5-0 in Sept 1973 as I was in my second week at school (near Newbury) and it would have been nice if I saw TC sitting on the ball moment to erase the memory of seeing Alan Ball sitting on the ball in that 5-0 defeat in January 1972

Tell us more about the school SB, did you have oiks from the nearest council estate fagging for you?

26th March 1987 was a Thursday so no fixtures.

We did however play two days later, a 2-2 draw at home to Bradford City if Silent Blade can shed some light on that? :)

I was thinking more that stating you couldn't go to a match on a Saturday afternoon because you're at school sounds a bit strange without the context that it is a boarding school.

I know. I will add though that my butler tells me SB's butler AND wine merchant, won't hear a bad word against him.
