Singing songs, high attendances, don't equate to three points.

They should visit Old Trafford when there's four times as many in the ground, then they'll know what a quiet stadium is.

Clean sheet.
Three points.

Last time that happened, Norah was leaving a "slug's trail" for three days in the front room.

By the way, Roygbiv

Ta. X.

Who's not happy? Its 4 from 4, its 3pts. Points that we wouldn't have got last season, we ground those out today, that wasn't easy. Same as Wimbledon, should've been 6-1 up but ended up 3-2 and having to dig in hard for last 15. I'm ecstatic that we have some fight back. Adkins would've lost today and he would've lost at Wimbledon.
I never said I was unhappy, all I said is that Peterborough deserved a point. Which they did.
As someine else says above, they'll win more away games than they lose if they play like that.

If you want, I can call P&G saying we're gonna win the league now we've won 4 on the bounce? I could. But that would make me delusional.

Your not delusional at all , I would say more like morbidly boaring, if you think fancy midfield play from teams deserves a point we have the wrong manager and it's that kind of fuzzy thinking that's kept us in this div for the last five/six seasons..

I long for the game when we have 10 shots on target.

I am genuinely puzzled that people can't see that we should be thankful for the 3pts today. I'm delighted that we got them. But I'm beginning to think that people on here can't give an unbiased view on events.

Thanks Roy.
I'm suprised we ever win considering the negative feedback week in week out,
near mind we will creep up to the top of the league and shove it up their arse.

To be fair we shouldn't be in a position where glorified Sunday league teams can have an opinion of us

That's the point pal I'm not unbiased I'm a "BLADE" what the hell are you ?

Cheers, Roy.

A load of fucking codswallop from them, in my opinion. I stand at the back of the Kop and that's the best atmosphere we've had in ages. I can't accept the accusations of silence from a club that brought a decent following and did nob all for 90 mins.

They offered nothing. We weren't overly dominant, and they could have got one, but I didn't feel that we really had to get out of third gear to beat them. Just disappointing that we didn't have that bit of extra quality to stick another two goals past them.

UTB as always.

More possession and considerably more shots on target shows they deserved more.
I'm delighted at a win but you have to be thankful for Moore. M.O.M by a country mile.

Take off your rose tinted glasses, be respectful, admit we were second best and be happy for the 3pts mate.
Tripe.

Most of their attempts on goal were not really 'goal threats' and for the most part I think we had the better chances. decision making let us down mostly/ personally I think we did enough to deserve the victory.

Which comments?

They did deserve a point.

We didn't sing.

The atmosphere was a lot better today Matt and the crowd a lot more noisier, you must have noticed that. They possibly deserved a point but, you couldn't have said that after the first 20 minutes, what happened to us after that ?, like someone flicked a switch, and we became spasmodic. Still think it was a decent battling display and one that we would have lost last season. Really enjoyed the game.

Sorry Roy but I don't really give 2 fucks about opposition post match points of view. Sour grapes always seems to dominate post match opinion. This is just another 3 points towards our ultimate goal.
But pre match views are always welcome.

I'll defend you here matt - we should be thankful for 3 points.

Of concern to me is we were great for 30 minutes playing 3-4-1-2 and were worse playing 4-4-2 (remember the first 4 games of the season) in the 2nd half.
Well pleased with our new found resilience, but Posh played well in the 2nd half and thankful we should be.

We move on and we deserve a bit of good fortune.

Imagine Christmas Day. Cheese Sandwiches an' a bag o' crisps for lunch.

That's what this forum would be without Roygbiv sterling, now traditional, Saturday evening fayre.

TBF and it isn't sour grapes because of the Boro supporters comments but. I've heard a couple of hundred away supporters make more noise at the Lane than them today.

We were certainly the better team today and deserved the win, posh made it a good game and should have a good season. We made better chances and got behind their back four more than they did ours. When it was up to them to push for a goal, they couldn't break us down and shot from distance.
Crowd were loads louder than we have been for ages was refreshing to hear.

Know what you mean about formation. I agreed with the change at half time. I was thinking we don't need 3 CBs, we're the home team, why should we stack the defence!? But, it seems to work better with the players we've got than 4-4-2.

Scougall bless him, I like him this season, trying very hard and is trying to be creative, but he's not a right winger.
