Chris Burke and Reece Brown both been training with us. Two of many free agents looking for contracts.

Chris Burke looked a good player 5 years ago.

No clue about Brown.

Chris Burke a was very good champ winger at birmingham, could be a great signing.

Reece wabara is also a free, good full/wing back cover for freeman?

In the ched season, we lost 4-0 at home to Birmingham in the cup and Burke ran us ragged.

Ahhhh Chris Burke :)

Been saying for a while he can still do a job..underplayed the past couple of seasons at Forest because for some reason Freedman didnt fancy him , he doesnt appear to be a crock so there should be a fair bit of life in him, went on loan to Rotherham last season when Colin kept them up.

Not the quickest player but he can usually make space for a good cross in or he does like to cut in and then cause panic by going across the box and has a good strike on him, a good honest team player.

Surprised we would be looking at Burke given his age.

Not really fitting the profile of young and having future value. But if he can still run hard for 90 minutes he may well have something to offer.

No idea on theses two chaps . Wilder will sign em up if they are any good and a asset to the squad . If not it will be thanks but no thanks .

Be a lot of these players floating around . Also out of contract for a reason , but be good to find a gem.

Mmmmmmm

Could go one of two ways. Good experienced influence, could do a lot of the work running around that Billy appears to be doing and score a couple of much needed midfield goals.

Or

Another last payday on the way down overweight journeyman type like Hammond.

Seen enough to know CW won't tolerate the later so I'll leave it to his judgement.

I'd be fine with a 1 year deal for Burke. From what I saw last year it didn't look like his legs had gone and he's a very direct winger.

I've not seen much of Brown, didn't stand out for Bury from what I remember last season.

I will say this.
Man United had a policy of one year deals for over 30's. If it worked for them we should do the same.

If he's fit, has a bit of pace left then a one year deal for Burke could be a good decision. Puts the onus on them to earn another deal. Perhaps if they make 30 appearances they get another year? Then if good enough the manager will play him and he earns a new deal.

However, it may be unlikely he will take it. There are other clubs out there prepared to offer longer desls

Burke in his Birmingham days. Looks to have clapped a bit of timber on. This is unlikely to mean anything to anyone who didn't grow up watching Children's TV in the 80s.

Like most of Family Guy then.
