Tbf I've been told that the first thing Wilder did was try and sign Ched but the board blocked it and said wait until October. If he gets found innocent there's a chance he'll be back, but don't see it myself, if he scores a few more and gets found innocent I think someone in the championship will take a punt on him.

That is exactly the situation. Same source told me that the re-trial is unlikely to happen.

I think we all know that K McCabe wanted (or still wants) Ched back. That was apparent with the whole "he is just coming back to train with us, to keep fit" saga, which ended with us backing down to Jean Hatchet and Jim Phipps being filmed, publicly explaining why we had reversed our decision.

I genuinely would not be surprised to see him back at BDTBL, although I know it would split the fan base.
