Agree with nearly all of that , except we cant recover from the bad start
CW start at northampton last season was very similar, and they went on to romp the title
they won only 2 of their first 7 lost 4 drew 1
The next four games are important as we play 3 of the current top 7.

A good points haul and it'll start looking much better.

Just a couple of points, Hussey played well in the Chubby-Checker-Lets-Twist-Again show on Tuesday, constantly beat his man, got to the by line and put quality balls into the box. He also has a shot like a rocket. Maybe he just needed a few games to adjust to playing in front of a big crowd every week. We will see.

I would have liked CW to have been given a bigger budget and aim higher at the players he was targeting, but he had to work with the money he had and McCabe had to pay off Collins, Hammond and Woolford and probably contribute to wages for players going out on loan.

Last season we all moaned about the players mentioned above, and others. "Matt Done has gone off the boil", "Edgar not good enough", "George Long not good enough", "Jay Mac a liability", etc. CW has addressed all this, with the small funds at his disposal.

I agree, I would love us to have a six foot, brick shithouse marauding midfielder. Maybe it is just me being old fashioned, but to compliment the wingers (and to get the crowd revved up), it would be great to have a big, fast , aggressive nasty twat charging straight down the middle of the pitch, at goal, with a "move or get flattened" look on his face.

I don't think any of the academy lads fit the above description, so that is still something we need.
