Played 2 lost 2 (excluding Halifax and Derby)
Sold young tallent (again)
Lost out on Mcfazden
Lost out on Morsy (allegedly)
Still got deadwood

I thought we tired and they looked fitter after about 70 mins therefore the shape dissapeared and they found space, can it get any worse?,i see improvement throughout the team so i would say we not as bad as it may seem.
Heads up lads

Calm down dear, it's only the EFL!!
Only, feckin only. We just lost to a forth division team that were quicker than us, bigger than us, more motivated than us and that have gone further in the cup by defeating our strongest side on our home feckin ground. Calm feckin down!

1 after a good performance to one of the toughest opponents we'll face.

Sold young tallent (again)
For far more than he's worth, after the player never standing out in a poor team.

Lost out on Morsy (allegedly)
No we didn't, we were never in for him as per Wilder's interview.

Just a few facts.

They weren't quicker or bigger than us! Quite possibly wanted it more though. It's easier to get motivated playing against us rather than against Crewe

All we need is a young striker who is as strong as fuck for his age and knows where the goal is ........................ OH bugger

With all due respect sbb not being able to motivate ourselves against Crewe is bullshit. Please keep it real. Based on that philosophy we should have beaten the mighty Bolton but won't win another game all season cause we can't get motivated against 'smaller clubs' ;)

B56 didn't say we couldn't motivate ourselves, just that it must be easier for a league 2 side playing Sheff Utd than a league 1 side playing Crewe. That's just human nature?

3 defeats in a row including Derby

I imagine it can get a whole lot worse. We've started the season showing that we're incapable of converting chances and turning over poor sides.

The players and manager need to pull their fingers out sharpish. I would say the same about the board but I gave up on them years ago. They're the reason we are here.

A bit worrying, yes. However this is a squad in transition and need to find their feet and style of play. Last season, Wigan took almost half a season to get settled, they eventually blended, bought well and finished as Champions.
Now at a new level, the process begins again and slip-ups are inevitable (last night Wigan lost to a Ryan Flynn-inspired Oldham...)

I'm as concerned as anybody, but a sane appraisal will come in about ten games time. Not making excuses for our lot, but it may be that - given the number of higher-placed teams who were knocked out last night - the 'bigger teams' have taken a look at the new, sponsor-less 'EFL Cup' and thought 'fuck that', getting to a higher level in the leagues is all that matters.

'Can it get any worse?' How long have you been watching United? :D

It's the bit where you say Wigan 'bought well'

Can't see us doing that.

OTE="Rodley, post: 1073092, member: 4755"]All S Yorks & N Derbyshire teams knocked out.

Early days yet it this team will improve. Need 2 more signings, left wing & centre midfield.[/QUOTE]
Remember saying the same last year, and the year before

You talk some bollox I'll give you that . In fact 50% of this board is now occupied by ameba .

I'm sure your one of the boo when we lose cheer when we win brigade .
Absolutely. One is a sign of appreciation the other a sign of disapointment when it gets this bad, and after all the Wilder hype losing to 4th division Crewe is bad. I'm not calling for his head just disappointed he can't squeeze a win out of a strike force second to non in this division. Would you complain about fans clapping and cheering, accept underperforming and dropping to the conference leagues? How far would you accept falling down the league before you would stop cheering? How many games in a row in this division would you accept before it was to much and you booed? I reached my level of disappointment and unacceptable underperformance the second season we failed to get out of this piss poor league. Obviously you haven't reached the lowest point you will accept yet when you use your average 79 posts per year to critisize fans and not the team they support. Classic clapper philosophy that's got us where we are today!
